Never blamed the DC for not having cables. I was just trying to find a backup plan/solution for the missing cable not provided by the manufacturer

Oh I asked all right, hoped they would take then ones I had to ship as replacements if they had been able to lend me some.

Care to share where are you hosting them? A DC should have all sort of cables around. I think they are required by their internal rules for safety reasons.

The fault of not providing the correct power cables is not with the colo, it with the supplier of the equipment.

The C14 male and female is fairly common I would be surprised if they didn't have them, but the C19 usually comes on only really high end servers and things like massive switches and UPS's PSU's

p.s. bet the price point is $1500 usd at best imho......still tough to justify at these BTC prices and 15c kwh in my case

Correct number is 1000W=3412 BTU/hr

Most of the noise was coming from the PSU fans anyway. If they don't ship the PSU with the new design, that noise is yours!
