Yea they are working non stop on negotiations.

Which I would do aswell , because with current BTC prices the listing fees are just insane..

Exchanges need to adapt to the BTC price in my opinion.

Yes it's kind of outrageous that medium-sized exchanges expect to get thousands or tens of thousands of dollars for listings, when they have terrible service and do a bad job of adapting ot wallet updates.

Yeah I agree, just did the math on cryptopia listing and it would be around the $100,000 mark in USD (or around 5 btc) just to get a listing. You see some of the old dead coins up there on and surely something new would be much better placed, and would be better for cryptopia as well.

Yea that on top , services didnt improve at all yet BTC value to be listed climbs to insanity Smiley

Try to place a buy-order they arent tied to what straks amount are there for sale.

Maybe someone will bite and sell them to you "cheap" but I suppose everyone knows the real value and tries to build up enough for a masternode by mining and keeping.

That's fair.  And also I know the dev team sells STAK every now and then, which helps supply.  But I think my general point is still valid, that either MN collateral needs to go down or, alternatively, more liquidity and supply is still needed.  Otherwise the MNs will fall into the hands of very few people and over-concentration of ownership is never good for a currency.

Perhaps getting the next exchange listing will help, I know that's what dev team raised funds for last round.

Just one man's opinion: the MN req is still way too high.  There are less than 10,000 STAK available on coinsmarkets and stocks.exchange combined.  So even if you wanted to pay the extremely high prices to buy out the entire sell-side orders, you would still be left with not enough for a 15,000 MN collateral.  MNs won't create any incentive to invest if such investment is impossible.  Again, just my 2 cents.

I think the problem with this project from the start was the swap idea. Why assimilate yourself with some dead coin?

Hey guys, I wrote a short blog on steemit about my thoughts on Straks.

Also, I think the Straks developers are doing a good job under difficult circumstances, and really hope the project will be a success. I've also learned what the name 'SkankHunt' was likely referencing, so at least I've learned one new thing today.

on first sight I am indeed excited about this project, but about signatum... i dont really know much about the history of that coin just some fud in mining communities etc. because of that big drop. never had to do much with that coin so know i am curious why these two coins are getting swapped one for another and how they are related or why? thanks ahead

Anyone in discord can let us know what % of SIGT has been swapped?  I'm momentarily unable to get on discord, though I'll just check myself in the morning if no one responds.
21.5%

That's a pretty chunk of burn.  What does that make the timeline for STAK release?  Several months at least, right?

Currently it's 16month+ If the burned amount exceeds 30% you are looking at 2 years+ to get your STRAKS.
Seeing that the supply of SIGT is reduced by already 21% it might also be an option to just keep them as a gamble.

Either way, it's a gamble. SIGT might crash to 1 satoshi or just be delisted from exchanges, STRAKS might die off in a few month, and you'll never receive your coins in full.
