We will be on a new exchange within this week. And even a decentralized one (nextexchange). It's still a beta, but it will be open for public trading within q2/2018.

As for other small exchanges: even small ones ask for huge fees and I don't think they are worth it most of the time. An exchange with 3M$ volume that aks for 10btc as a listing fee is a bad deal.

We will be on more echanges within this year. For now we have livecoin, cryptopia and tradogre. Nextexchange will follow soon and we are in contact with many more.

To talk about the premine again: the premine was explained since day one. If one does not agree with it, one just should not invest. Anyway, as you already said, s coin needs funds to work. There is no way around it.

Cheers!

I strongly disagree with you pawelsalsa45. The market is bullish? The whole market? I don't see this yet.

I know, I know... Visdude may say I am cheerleading now. But what has changed for Sumo since we hit 80ksat? We improved. We have new team mebers, our very own PoW, we still have the same roadmap and we are about to go live on nextexchange very soon. You think we don't have what it takes? If we don't have it now, we didn't have it back in december.

I don't want to convince you to hold, I just have a friendly advice: there are many many coins and due to that, some coin pumps everyday... you can go try to chase those pumps (try to find them before everybody else does - a tough competition), or you search for a coin with strong fundamentials and hold it.  Hold it for a long time.

For me, Sumo is such a coin (one to hold a long time, since I strongly believe in it).

And last but not least: a small part of the premine will released in june. Not the 10% in total. In fact, it is not even 1%. Please look at the release of the premine carefully and stick to the facts  Wink
Thank you for your feedback. As I said before, I'm a holder, I invested in this project almost at the very beginning of it existence. I was also one of those who have helped this coin to reach 80k satoshi, I traded hard and at that time it brought me financial success. But now I feel like this project is being undervalued by investors and I wonder why is it so.  This initial enthusiasm disappeared somewhere , coin that was intended to replace or complete monero just got stock in a dead end. I think there are many reason of this situation, lack of big exchanges or even a few small ones, why not try to list it on for example tradesatoshi, southchange etc, etc. But also this big premine could be a problem in further development. Investors aren't stupid, they can count and the situation of sumokoin is completely different from Monero because sumokoin has to compete with thousands of other coins while monero is like bitcoin, everybody know it!  That is why 10% premine of Monero isn't equal to 10% premine of sumokoin. Monero team could afford sch a big premine because at that time there were no competition involved, but now situation of Sumo is completely different,  it has to compete with everybody! I wish Sumo good luck. As a matter of fact I will be still holding it for better times and better profit but without all that enthusiasm that accompanied me when I bought my first Sumo!

I like the security space so I am definitely interested in Sumo. I have been mining it for a month now with good results and look forward to the future of this project.

And what future of this project are you waiting for? Another fork? Or news from developers? So far, I do not see any special success with the coin.
Sumo coin was successful once when it hit 80k satoshi a few months ago, but now all I see is just a regress. The main cause of these drops was the bear market,  but even now, when we enter the bull market slowly there are no signs of recovery. I'm also holder, I have invested in this coin a quite big sum if converted into dollars but I'm pessimistic now.  Will this project skyrocket again? I hope so but I'm becoming more and more pessimistic.  I also think that one of the main reasons is that it is a profit-oriented project, 10% pre-mine, it is a huge amount and I don't see how such large amount of coin could be used for its good when the premine wallet is to be relist in June.

So the only difference between GUI and LITE is the ability to connect to a remote node. Why have two separate standalone apps to accommodate a single feature? Wouldn't it be more elegant, efficient and practical to just incorporate this single feature into the existing GUI wallet as a Settings Option just like Monero GUI Wallet has?

Furthermore, "LITE" usually connotes "Mobile". Why is there no official mobile (Android, etc.) version of the LITE wallet? Is that forthcoming?

I'm not trying to fud btw (hell, can't fud a coin I hold several handfuls of BTC worth:). I did check the official roadmap and the only wallet changes currently listed are with the online wallet. Having "watching only" wallets available would be a nice option, especially when maintaining multiples.

Either way, I'm staying hopeful for more features!

I mined a whole bunch of the tokens myself early on when the difficulty was very low so I'm a hodler too. Hence my insistence on the feature but the cheerleaders insist that I'm a fudder...just because I ask the hard questions that they obviously don't like...stealing their cheerleading thunder in the process.

FUD (and any of its iteration/conjugation/inflection/degree) is such an overused/misused/abused term. It's usually the go-to buzzword for people who don't have anything meaningful to say or could no longer support their position in an otherwise rational discussion. It's an "out" for their ineffectiveness.

BTW, I wasn't making this whole thing up:

Edit: "mined a whole bunch" doesn't mean in any way, shape or form that it even comes close to the premine amount of this crypto.

I didn't understand your comment as fud, all is fine.

FYI: You can always use the cli to go for an "watch only" wallet.

FYI2: on the roadmap are lighty-wallet and multi-sig-wallet. Both a bit delayed due to our latest PoW HF, but to be released soon.

@NChink: all official infos are on our roadmap (see sumokoin.org).

@Visdude: you're a fudder and you insult us in every post you make. I think it's clear for you and all other people reading this threat that we don't take you serious anymore (since a long time).

@NChink again: better get your information from other (better) sources  Smiley

Cheers.

How to send Sumokoin from a wallet I create in wallet.sumokoin.com ?

You'd have to download an actual wallet (see sumokoin.com for official/direct links - do not click on links by 3rd parties). Once you have it installed, you can enter your mnemonic to restore (recreate) your paper wallet.

...and since that means that the newly restored wallet would then be exposed "online" because the official wallet is incapable of cold wallet/offline signing features, I'd take necessary precautions to minimize vulnerability of your "online" wallet.

Yes true. I would love to see a wallet like Armory with watching wallets and similar security functions. Curious if the devs have any plans on coming up with something like this.

Believe me. I've been asking them about it for a while now which should already be a standard crypto wallet feature nowadays. Monero GUI wallet has such feature but Armory was I think the first one to implement it way back then. The last reply I got from the usual suspects (cheerleaders) on here was: "No cause you ve asked for it. If it wasnt for you we would have done it".  So yeah, a very mature, well-balanced, professional bunch /s.

So I've seen some of your posts and interactions with others on here and tbh I thought it was an internal joke or something. I did see this comment:

Does this update happen to include the cold/offline signing GUI wallet feature as indicated by any chance?

No cause you ve asked for it. If it wasnt for you we would have done it

So @sumogr in all seriousness can we expect any of these features soon?
