Thanks earlz & yourself!

we have some distance to wolf0's claimed 2.5 kh/s but we ll get there...

If someone can take it up that high, I think we should all put a bounty of 1 SUP per person for the least?

You should note that wolf has extremely beefy hardware. An over clocked i7 with over clocked DDR4 RAM

I have a 4770k @ 4.5Ghz with 16GB of DDR3 2133 and I'm doing near his hashrate Smiley

what speed you get with this processor? I would like to take a dedicated server with a i7 4770, I do well in your opinion?

I have now compiled the updated cpu miner for different cpu architectures (I am only able to test on Haswell and increased my previous has very slightly from 1.15kh to 1.19kh):

Haswell - https://mega.co.nz/#!kgASjYoL!9ZW3LkWl64vvBxhBMvLy1Hy_Ba8yFDVyViRyG02Kfq0

Ivy Bridge Core i3/i5/i7 & Xeon E3/E5/E7 *V1 - https://mega.co.nz/#!lwpkGCJZ!6klSd0Sttk-5NFgLzuWJQfd2YEqP50A46sG2LO4Lox8

Ivy Bridge Pentium - https://mega.co.nz/#!N5hCRAjZ!qEDL8izJExpNxuZpHlEhiuOD-C-o2xgKB4WfAYuprdg

SandyBridge Core i3/i5/i7 & Xeon E3/E5/E7 - https://mega.co.nz/#!I1ZlVY5a!Q-i33nhkGMCiK25Pgsu_n7G-0vgdBoacQymsaaIXO-o

SandyBridge Pentium - https://mega.co.nz/#!F44lHYLJ!YGlKQ07nNO0MmDeFiTAw8Dfxn0oRWABvopH44WgVLnw

there is so much difference between a xeon 3/5 and a i7 ?

Because I've noted that on some servers with xeon e5 processors are slower and less powerful than the last i7. Possible?

Often true - especially since pretty much all Xeons have locked multipliers.

 Shocked Shocked

I didn't know, thanks Wink

Wolf0 is getting 3Kh/s+ on his CPU. I have his binary and I'm getting ~2.5Kh/s as shown in my screenshots in previous posts in this thread.

It was only the wind.
wolf0 man you know cpus arent so strong when there is gpus so you can release it will not cause to difficulity to be more

When the GPU miner comes out, it will no doubt need some work, so I might spend some time on that.

I have compiled the updated cpuminer for Windows using cygwin - i'll be honest, I don't really know what I am doing with linux/cygwin/compiling but it seems to have worked and has increased my hash by about 30% on an i5 (from 0.82kh to 1.15kh).

https://mega.co.nz/#!wwh3XZhZ!16uJRNLzeCFaOU5fpbmgmH90NrckRQnLLeCM6IJbIq4

Make sure you change your bat file from wolf-pluckminer-generic64-update1.exe to minerd.exe

cygwin1 and cygcurl-4.dll  absent error!!!
same with me

theres probably about 18 dll's you need, they'll all be in the cygwin directory (had the same issue after building)

I have updated the link with all the needed dll files
the link just brings us to the mega page and theres nothing there it says it was taken down or the url is wrong
