I am not guy's Wink
1. 2good English is a way better from mine Wink
2. Same applies to his manners. Grin
I have to work on mines for sure....but when I see something that I can not stand dis drives me crazy. You know what I mean Wink

Grin  Grin  Grin Yeah, Gator recognizes the differences on picture quality.

How about start with cleaning the thermal paste around the SMD component Roll Eyes
I do not care about paste. What i care is cgminer to work Wink
Apart of the jokes i have asked about it and it is non conductive one. I am not HW expert but as long it is no conductive clearing it will make the board look pretty and nothing more

LOL  Cheesy
I can't wait to had some bite on cgminer 3.12.0

Pretty quiet about the power consumption...
Yes in fact it is. So to give you a clue as far as i know two miners with extreme OC do crash 850 W PSU rated about 73 A on 12 V
It turns out that there are peaks with 35Amps+ per board in order to crash PSU or PSU is just crappy.
I will have my PSU today 55Amps on 12V for a single miner and give it a shot i guess it will not crash with just one miner
As i predicted some time ago they eat power for sure. I will try to find power meter and give yo exact numbers But if you want 250GH+ make sure you can provide - peak power 40Amps for a board. Carefully chosen PSU 650W-700W should be fine. The bottom line will be 600W but i am not risking just to save a couple of bugs
i am talking about 12V at the wall add between 10-20 % on top EU/US (220V/110V) PSU efficiency and so on
Have in mind that marto's chips are samples from zefir as far as i know and there is a rumor that later they will re page the chips with thick wires inside which will improve efficiency

So they are not the same person for sure Smiley
The first prototype with one direction of both heatsinks do not have enough surface for the top.
So we had to switch, sorry Gator
Here is some more squeezed GH/s

This result blown me away  Shocked
Very impressive marto  Grin

You are a profit my friend.
Will continue in the morning.
As much as I love the price of the 35x5 profile
We are getting 70 mm tall one tomorrow for the bottom heatsink

OMG when will you stop adding GH?  Cool

I always thought these heatsinks were too low for the 4500rpm fans. They have a lot of static pressure.
TALLER HEATSINKS = LOWER STATIC PRESSURE = GET MORE COOLING = MORE GH!

Photos are not as nice as 2Good takes though so maybe not.

I noticed Ioshia only has it powered on one 6 pin plug. Seems a bit risky for 260W+

You're right, but maybe Iosha is 2Good?  Grin

I just noticed the bottom heat sink on Iosha's is NOT pointing in the same direction as the top heat sink.

That would ruin my cooling idea. I need them pointing in the same direction, like the original prototype, to blow air down the length of the board with a bigger quieter fan.

Looks like the heatsinks grew some to reach 260GH though. I could probably sit 2x quiet 92mm 43cfm fans on top of that now!

We can put slow ones for you but you'll have to lower your hash rate

How low? I'm more interested in 1W/1GH rather than maxed out GH.

I'm thinking of putting it in a tunnel and blowing a 120mm 75cfm along the whole board.

marto, you can send the miner without FAN to Gator-hex  Wink
He will surely dump it & replace with Arctic  Cheesy

Check this out guys, loshia already receive first HEX8A1 miner https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.4963562

No include 4500rpm fans, I'll sell them, but don't delay shipping waiting for fan guards, i'll take them off, ship YWHOCVTBB and HVNCNTMXD as soon as possible please!

It's not fair Ioshia always gets the product first. I think they said they're in Bulgaria and go around to pick it up.

This is the first time loshia get the miner early. The other 3 miner receive first by 2GOOD  Smiley

He just took it with not fully finished firmware.
We are tweaking it further @ the moment.
And also do some minor HW improvements.
Also he do not have finger guards Smiley

marto, did the unit use 4800 rpm SUNON?
yes but also We have a few thousand FINGER GUARD; For Use With:92mm Axial
on the way to us

Nice, i am prefer 4800 rpm SUNON  Grin, the performance is remarkable.

Oooh Nooo! Sunon 4500rpm finger choppers! Good job you're going to put guards on them this time. Wink

I'll have to figure out another cooling solution, can't sit the same room as those leaf blowers! I can even hear them from the room above!
