Big Data retrospect
The term Big Data popped up a while ago, but as a phenomenon it had existed before the Common Era. At that time it was about calculation, analysis and structuring of data in libraries and troops. With the growing amount of information, the processes were getting more complex.
The first Big Data revolution at the start of the 19th century gave rise to the era of analog data storage. It became possible to preserve sounds and images on magnetic tapes, aside from transferring to paper.
The 20th century marks a shift from analog to digital media:
1956 — IBM introduces the first hard disk drive, weighing about 1 ton.
1982 — Sony and Philips release the first digital optical disc.
1989 — the term Data Mining is coined.
Today’s world sees at least a 30% annual growth in information volumes. According to Cisco, in 2019 the annual global traffic will reach two zettabytes.
mytime will record and store Big Data on a decentralized network. Each service will have access to its user data in desensitized format. Businesses will be able to sell this data and use it for promotion campaign targeting.

Well, we mainly focus on the market's demand. Services need a transparent, easy-to-use and effective tool to build customer loyalty. And users will receive profit just by doing what they usually do, like watching Game of Thrones, playing games, taking a taxi, etc. The market is huge, demand is high, that is why we think that our project will be successful. Thanks for asking! The idea is pretty simple yet effective.
First, a company (service) integrates with our platform and buys MYTC for fiat money. Then, it encourages users to spend time on its service in exchange for MYTC. Conditions for rewards will be set using smart-contracts for maximum clarity and transparency.
There will be two blockchains, Time and Money. The first one will keep records of time spent by users on services. The second one will store records of transactions between platform participants.
