Looking at Wetrust's price chart, I think we have found a bottom price. It happened in March 19, 2019. The lowest was 0.53 cents, today the price is still almost three times higher at 1.39 cents.
My impression here is that the weak hands or sellers are exhausted. All that is left are the loyal holders because there is no trading volume at all. If there were a little bit of sellers left, they would push the price down back to half a cent even with no volume.

The main reason here is the trading volume, it was delisted in bittrex AFAIR so people panic.
Good days of this project was only when Bittrex still owns the top trading volume in the market and Binance was not created yet, IIRC, that time it was polo and BIttrex who are leading the market and any coins listed in Bittrex are getting hype as this exchange are constantly listing tokens and coins that time.
If the team will try to list in bigger exchange, most probably there will be some positive changes here.
From my point of view it could be worthless to make it list on bigger exchanges. This one already lost it charm because majority of the community left this project due to lack of progress and the team failed to achieve their goals on time. Now it became the part of the past and at the moment there are so many better projects exist with working platform.

So what exactly happened in May? This is strange that someone bought up the low, low price of TRST back in May. Insider? I sure wish the dev team would be more communicative about what's going on behind the scenes.
I check on other exchange and it was not like your chart maybe there's only a manipulation in that price. The recent low that have a price surge in the chart in Hitbtc was in way back march 18. There was sudden drop from April 15 to May 27 in BTC price. I assume trading was halted or the chart provider has errors with API.
By checking the chart i think the trading was halted is way more near to its possibility than the API error and if there's a problem they will going to fix it if im right. Taking into the current price i'm still not going to trade TRST until i saw a good price and a bull trend. Its so hard to anticipate this kind of project if we we can make a good profit in the future.
If we look at the graph, we might like its movement, but all of that are not a big deal when the trading volume is very low, there's no liquidity on this project, they need to be listed in a bigger exchange with more active traders.
