TrustED is exploring the possibilities and requirements to implement a feature which would enable the automatic translation of academic certificates/credentials. And unfortunately, this applies not only to medical diplomas. Many other focused professions need, at a minimum, proof of qualification.

It is very sipmle to make a fake diploma but hard to check it. And education in Universities is very expensive. That is why there are so many fake diplomas.

A very interesting question. But such way I think the states protect local specialists. People from russian-speaking counties often have a good education but they are ready to work for a smaller salary. They compete with local specialists. And the states protect local people do not accept the diplomas from other countries.
