Yep they definitly have one of the nicer websites I’ve seen from a crypto project especially one so new and young I look forward to seeing what they evolve into over the next few years as the proj ct grows

It’s one of the reasons that things like exchange tokens hold value. Giving the tokens real world value is in itself valuable whether it be for discounts or whatever the case may be the trick is to make them useful and desireable so that they hit that sweet spot of demand growth
You're absolutely right, its necessary to have some sort of value attached to any project, as it stands now, no project will do well if they don't have any form of such attached to it, the competition is even too stiff for one to lurk around such project when there are dozens of good ones such as this, so ones a project has a solution to a problem, it is bound to succeed
Me and you get it but you’d be surprised how many projects seem to forget that fact. Creating a token is useless it’s the value in the real world terms attached to it that matter but not just cash but if a token is worth a House or a bottle of coke then it’s still valuable
This team gets it, many others id say not so much

Think you will get a lot of people investing in Vanigs pre sale with chance of 30% bonus, great opportunity to get into an awesome project. Although the state of the crypto market makes things interesting, one of the best ICOs I know of.

In the Progress Bar you can see that so far 1mio has been taken. That was just one investor so far (the President of 4New)
Or was the Progress Bar not updated yet? But maybe the $ 20k minimum investment is too high?
They're only looking for institutional investors or large whales at this point, so I don't expect it be constantly moving. The main sale has a minimum of 0.1 ETH investment, so that's when we'll see the majority of the movement in investments.

I've looked at the MVP again, thought there might be an update. But apparently there is none.

Vanig team should provide Fiat option as well. Not everyone will use crypto currencies for buying products.
im pretty sure that they said that it'll only ever be available in Vanig tokens at the start, which is what will bring in the constant demand for the tokens in the long run.
I am not sure how will they tackle to volatility of the token since usually supplier need a stable currency to be able to trade. For example the supplier is selling a dress for 100 Vanig tokens that say equates to $100. The cost of the dress (cloth, sewing..etc) is say $80. the supplier sells and 10 days later someone pays the 100 Vanig tokens and now the 100 Vanig tokens equate to $70 due to some drop or bear effect on the market. The supplier is at loss now.
That's why I think they should introduce another token, and run a two token approach.
Token 1 can be used for purchases on the platform, and it will be pegged to a value in local fiat currency.
Token 2 will be the ones that are currently being sold in the ICO, their purpose will be a store of wealth that can be traded and used on exchanges.
Investors could convert Token 2 to Token 1 to use on the platform at a reduced discount compared to buying in with fiat.
I know it complicates matters, but it's true what Ibininja said, the markets fluctuating could put a traditional business in debt if the markets were bearish for a long period of time.
I agree. Token price fluctuations will cause lot of issues if someone wants to buy products from Vanig platform. I think someone can check with Vanig team, during next AMA session
I have been thinking about it and I think the approach Cryptossi proposed could work they could use Tether or something similar; I would also like to add another proposition as well. what if they price is fiat but paid in Vanig? Under the hood it get changed immediately to Vanig tokens. this minimizes volatility but does not eliminate it.

I think, that he meant the Pre-Sale. I observe the Vanig project for such a long time, it can happen that you mix the dates and the different ICO stages.

Certainly is the future with the cool features of tracking where it originated from and the other impressive features - and not to forget the big overall fees significantly reduced
I expect product price will be very less at Vanig platform compare to other e-commerce sites. But for now I still don't know how price will be adjusted with daily token price fluctuations.

Vanig are very good at identifying groups that fit in with what they are trying to achieve. All their partnerships enable the roadmap to move forward. A few more of these and Vanig will truly stand out as a leader in the ecommerce space
True, partnership for Vanig project have been strategic all along but I'm yet to see partnership with major relations store or chain..
as easy as that may seem it not going to be easy most of those major stores wouldn't want to partner right now till they have a clear sight of vanig's success. I believe soon such partnership will ensue

I think it's natural for people to wait and see how successful something is before becoming patners. But at a point all this commercial stores would be the ones running to vanig to get a spot because of how successful they have seen vanig. Vanig just need to play their card right.
