Hi folks, here is a build of the most recent base from Romano for macOS.
Please test, report issues and have fun!

You might have to mention that it's still a beta wallet.
Only install it if you are a skilled MacOS user.

Hi Guys,

New on this forum, just jumping in.
I'm having some issues with the vaicoin QT wallet.
Have downloaded the wallet on MACos, but synchronization seems to take ages! Already syncing for 3 full days, reached 66000 blocks, downloaded 5 Gb.
How much longer will it take for the synchronization? Is there any way to speed up the process?

Thanks in advance!

Is the bounty company continuing? Or it's to late?

Clearwallet gives you your private keys when you generate an address.  If you backed that up you don't need clearwallet anymore.  If you didn't back that up, learn from this and do it next time.

You are clearly correct, and any clearwallet user can only blame the original dev, btcdrak, for the demise of clearwallet.io wallet, and best practice for users would have been to save private keys as well as clearwallet seed phrase, but this then becomes an issue of community assistance. If VIA wants to attract new investors and community members then here is a great opportunity to HELP people in need.

Recently I saw Komodo dev jl777, and Elastic dev Evil Knievel go out of their way to help community members with key issues, even writing one-off utilities to help people recover coins. That kind of 'service' generates a lot of good vibes, and loyalty.  Nobody is required to help these clearwallet users, but if someone does, how do you think that'll make them feel?

Btcdrak is a prick!!!

I have my Clearwallet passphrase but not the private key. Can I use the phrase on any other wallet? Yes, we do live and learn.  Grin

I saved only the Clearwallet password too, really hope there is a tool to extract priv keys, too many via coins to lose.

Does a utility exist for Clearwallet to enumerate your private keys from your pass phrase?  This exists for Counterwallet.
