Also how can I choose a different data directory folder? The usual -datadir option doesn't work.

The miner seems to be using only about 25% of CPU. Is there any way to make it run on a full load? Maybe some command line parameters or configs?

or a slider so everyone can set the way it works best...
ya that would be an alright idea

FFS go read the whitepaper.  Using little CPU power is part of the coins implementation.  You guys frustrate me.

can I run multiple wallets/miners from the same network (IP address)?
Certainly but not 100's of nodes because the consensus will start rejecting the blocks as SPAM.

Thank you for your support.

Lol, so let me get this straight. In order to make it fair you are going to penalize a few home users who have access to multiple machines from a single IP address, but yet allow the botnet operators free reign, as the 1000's of computers they could potentially control would all be from different addresses...

One of the reasons I am following this is I admire your attempt for a fair distribution, but think about this aspect a little. I do not think you will be able to find a way to 100% guarantee fair distribution to everyone, but I would rather it error on the side of a few users with many legitimate PCs, than with the botnet operators.

but how would one do that? From multiple computers? all with the same I.P address? cause I can't download another vanilla wallet and run it right now on the computer I'm running mine on right now right?

Multiple computers in one home network (same WAN IP)

Reinstalled updated wallet + miner and deleted the AppData directory but it looks like the stats and address are the same as on the previous install... is that to be expected?

The network is fine. There is almost no testers which is causing a temporary problem. The solo mining fairness algorithm needs 24 hours of activity before it can reach a consensus and go into full effect. Please invite your friends to join the testing so we can launch on time. Cool

Thank you for your support.

Will do John Smiley I'll invite all the friends I can to this project Smiley

after 12 hr mining on Windows 7 64-bit: one computer has 512 coins stuck in "Immature" and my laptop has 384 coins also stuck in "Immature"... not sure if that's where they're supposed to be and for how long...

I can fire up the Mac for testing if needed (will be same IP though)...

My coins are also immature, so something is broken I think or to little amount of testers.
