it's more like you came in with your own agenda and not communication with the community.

In the near futur we will not get any new Updates or features. So is anyone intressted to start a hype on whitecoin, with the actually funktions?
I mean something like this
http://smallbusiness.chron.com/build-hype-25968.html
In the Moment there are only 20 mio coins at mintpal and the most of them are under 300sat (~10 mio coins).  So it is a good opportunity to start a hype.
What do you thing?

Not sure what you are asking. Can you speak English?

Nope, prefer chinese

Lifetime registration sounds like something prestigious as well (Member Since) with annual dues. Also, as long as the coin is never connected with the actual membership (a point that I did not fully consider) I don't think there is a real issue. I still think some folks might shy away from providing personal information, especially to foreign entities. Wish I had more technical insight to know how you could pull this off, but somehow there needs to be a validation system connected to the coin that legitimizes your status, yet disconnected from the foundation. I am still thinking along the lines of having a open-source methods that is not too far off from signing certificates SSL's, etc.

I am on holiday and have to say thank you again to the great dumping service by manipulator to keep filling my wallet with more WC See i just have to set my buy orders above his/theirs and let them do the work for me Smiley

600k at 82 bought, another 400k at 77 bought and more orders still waiting for them to fill for me as they keep trying to push price down, wc keeps moving to strong hands/wallets like mine, thanks!

So that means another 1M WC currently out of play on Mintpal and I (and others) will continue to purchase more and more, so sad for others because once it hits my wallet, its not for sale...

I like the idea of a membership for voting as it does raise coin and is a little more honest, however we may still have questions raised about how you would prevent hundreds of bogus membership registrations (votes). Again, we are back to buying votes, no?

I'm all for Official Membership, its a great way to raise founds, also using it as an official voting tool can be done properly without the fear of fake account. It has to be manage by the Foundation, you become a member of the foundation by registering with a valid ID.

Now, before people bitch about anonymity, remember this has nothing to do with wallets, address, transaction, spending of any kind or how much you have... and since the WCF will be an official non-profit recognized by the Government of Canada, it is protected under the law and privacy will be respected. This would be a solely voting membership, no different of your Costco membership or political affiliation.

This way we get an honest community, engage and able to vote, transparent and totally legit. If you want to vote, you have to be a registered member.

Does this make sense?

What would constitute a valid ID?

That would be up for debate...my idea is far from perfect but it's a start, let's throw more ideas in the pot Smiley

Haha, very good points.  And Whitenotwright made a good point earlier about preventing multiple registrations which would be like fixing the vote.  Its a worthy discussion and an obvious missing point in my original post.  I saw a previous post from Mogonzo talking about the registration, so its possible there would be legal protection to your privacy should information be required.  Its a major issue we'd have to resolve, but i'm glad the idea of members and such is resonating.

I do not feel like it would be buying votes again however (with a proper identification system in place.)  Once the registration due is paid, you'd be a member.  Any further voting would not require re-registration, and I'm not sure I like the idea of continuing paying any type of due, just a one time deal.  However, if i'm missing a point here, let me know.

It has to either be a yearly membership or lifetime... I lean towards lifetime

I lean towards lifetime as well.  There could always be other fundraising drives should the need be there.  Buy this awesome t-shirt for $25, proceeds go to the WCF type deal haha.

...I was thinking that we can create a community on the site http://whitecoinfoundation.org, where each member will be recorded, pay for activation "x btc" to the foundation, receive a gadget chosen by him based on the donation and subsequent will be entitled to vote.

I deal with a lot of european suppliers, and I'm already starting to see some out of office notifications.  Can someone point me to a resource that states the countries that take their vacations in August?

there's nothing out there because it's not an official thing... historically most of Europe takes their vacation in August, it's more of a tradition then anything else.

you can find specific civil holiday here that people might arrange vacation around

Nope you are correct, this is a difficult issue.  Something to consider would be the use of a Thrid-party verification system (e.g. Precise ID) thus validating the ID, yet not providing sensitive information to the foundation or its entities (for those folks that are earnest, yet recluse but n0t shady). Not sure how this type of an arrangement could be global in nature and integrated into the wallet, but mamma always said if you can think it, you can do it. I am not an expert in Third-Party Verification systems, but a simple trip to the internet spills lots of options. Or, maybe signed certificates from Verisign of the like?
