Thank you for your patience during this interesting transition. We advise all miners to use only http://us-east.chunkypools.com:3337 until we are up to full speed and activate our other stratums. The multipool is functioning perfectly otherwise on the back end, anyone pointed to this stratum will receive their WhiteCoin payments tonight!
What Happened
We ran an analysis over the last 48 hours of the estimated hash rates and traffic coming to the whitecoinpool.com. We estimated the "Community Hash" of WhiteCoin to be between 5-8 GH (when you exclude the multipools from the network hashrate). We instituted a series of initiatives to facilitate the arrival of so many expected customers, and even over estimated in our approach.
The WhiteCoin community has essentially smashed through our expectations
If you think of this in real world terms, we were faced with a stampede after mining ended. If this had happened at Walmart there would be bodies in aisles.
In short: point your miners to http://us-east.chunkypools.com:3337 and fasten your seatbelts as we take this train up to full speed on a track with no limits.

I predicted this would happen what a wasted opportunity.
There hasn't been a wasted opportunity, the transition occurred, the multipool is working great, and we are in the process of activating new stratums.
It was a mess like i said it would be, that chunkypool is nowhere near big enough to run the whitecoin multipool. I told you before expect 20GH +
Why is hashcows not listed on the OP ?
I see already a few peolple moaning and moving to other coins. That's just the people saying they movies...This was a predictable mess. There should have been several options chunky pool is too small and too inexperienced.
There needs to be more options.
Chunkypools has been at this just as long as hashcows, and their code has stood up. Activating secondary stratums in a process is pretty far from a mess when the code base handled a gear shift of massive proportions with near perfection. The europe stratum is about to come up.
Most importantly: the community needs to rally around one multipool to start.
We fully intend to support other multipools in the op as the week progresses, but consensus was reached among the team that it would be too risky to promote segementing the community away from a central hub at this point.
