Every new pool launch has a few hiccups. Seen it so many times. It's a speed bump not a road block. I'm sure in an hour or so they will have it worked out.
No doubt they are on it at this very moment.

Who is confirming transactions now with PoW finished? Tried the staking but no indication in the wallet that it is working.
This has got to be a feature in a wallet update, def need that confirmation is working.

A dead GPU is a local issue, mine come back after a system restart
Working fine on other pools - normally I agree but when I connect to either europe or US server BAMT now freezes. I've tested other scrypt and scrypt-n pools and they all work fine.

Their service is listed in the Dafuqcoin ANN thread and their service went down around that same time. So far they have not posted a status update."

They may have had no intention of scamming anyone, but likely they had their wallets ransacked. Good luck.

What's the minimum PoS reward, or is there one? It looks like the block crawler is showing 10 WC + transaction fees for all the blocks starting at 10,000. PoS doesn't seem to be working quite right, or else I'm reading the information off the block crawler incorrectly.

WC successfully came into POS stage.
What did surprise me is that (unlike i.e. Blackcoin) I don't see any staking info in my wallet.
How can I check whether is my wallet staking and maybe some details like my and the network weight, expected time to earn a reward and so on?

The dashboard is working, takes a few minute to ramp up. Are you seeing hashing on your mining software?
