Too many trolls here are repeating the same words. We all already know the history of WC, there is no need to repeat it.
Ownski, WhiteNotWrite, please sell all your WC stake and go out. Thank you!

they want to buy more but no one is selling so they are fudding trying to scare people into selling into their low ball bids, while fake dumping into each others bids to create an illusion of people "selling".
a while ago i've explained how this manipulation works to WhiteNotWrite (who claimed to represent a group of "investors") and since then its been going on like a clockwork (a broken one)

you can tell just by looking at chart indicators when they're about to start whipping each other into fudding frenzy Cheesy

Actually you just read stuff and respond without giving it much thought about my motive. Again, there is no buy support and I could run this to zero if I wanted too, in fact most anyone could as it would only take a few BTC to do that without blinking an eye. We are only trying to clear the air to make room for additional investors. We are not a part of the "yes sir no sir group". We ask the tough questions and get blasted by lemmings like yourself. You come at me with you quips and giggles because you know we are doing the right things. Keep acting the fool, we'll continue to expose the truth and understanding. After all, key manta here is transparency and frankly this has not been the case. You step aside now, let us do the heavy lifting and get this coin back into the mainstream. I will chip in for DEVs when I know the shill is gone and real players are at the table.

Says someone who has never appeared on IRC, said a good word about this coin, or lifted a finger to help this community.

Put your money where your mouth is.

EDIT: Also, anyone who's actually a part of this community knows we are very transparent. The dev team is actually accessible.

Everyone, until we can make contact with and get a response from bitcointalk... we're just going to have to do this oldschool: a mass ignore.

People who have been around whitecoin since all this went down know the real story, and can see the ways in which whitenotwright, ownski, and truthhurts are lying. Don't let this childish behaviour bother you.

Remember, people regularly hire coordinated trolls on these forums. It's a shame that BCT so far seems unwilling to do anything about it.

Heres the important question. Can you implant the features the community wants and how much BTC will it cost us. We needed a new wallet months ago and want to add new features to make Whitecoin more attractive to everyone.
You really didn't read my post, did you?

Right, So I'll take that as a no.

So shall we start looking for another programmer? Other than one who makes a smug appearance every few months... What are the bounty limits we are willing to spend for the features we want?

Ownski, you and WhiteNOtWright are clearly lying and working together. This coin hasn't even existed for months. Mindfox has done a hell of alot more for this community than you could even imagine doing. I think it's time for you to move on.

Admit the truth FFS and maybe I will bring in a little more money. You are such a poor excuse for a president. Show leadership!

I am here to prevent people from getting suckered into your con game basically. I could care less what you feel and will post whatever I feel before you turn socialist and start to censor the forum, which would be funny considering the anon pump as of late. This is how I know this place is a joke and scam,

bahahaha of all the real scam coins out there, you are wasting your time on a legit one that had a bad start?

You'll fit right up there on the BTC-e.com chat group! LOL

I feel bad for this chump. This poor fool doesn't know that Whitecoin was literally copy pasted from Blackcoins source code... I mean you couldnt even run both of the wallets at the same time without problems  Roll Eyes jesus christ people, don't be so stupid.

From what i recall it wasn't cloned from blackcoin source at all,The original dev who has long gone copied the ghostcoin source.

Yes I copied the Ghostcoin source, as I the original Whitecoin dev also made Ghostcoin. I also made some 30 other coins.

For clarification I was until not long ago a freelance coin maker, making coins for myself and other paying parties.

I charged a standard rate of 1BTC or 50% of the premine to make these coins and promised a 24hr turnaround.

When contacted by a community member to make Whitecoin the original set of specs not only did not make sense, were very bad. Since I was unable to contact the member until 2 hours prelaunch I was pressed for time.

Originally they wanted it cloned off blackcoin. When I started to clone it I left the premine to the end and realized that nHeight had not been used to calculate POW rewards, so rather than going through and changing POW, I just quickly copied over the specs to Ghostcoin. With a limited amount of time, I did what I could.

The main mistake made was I used the Blackcoin  POS min and max heights. This for some reason actually disabled POS.

When this was bought to my attention, the Whitecoin project was basically extorted from my self and other member by Monzongo, who threatened to destroy the network and claimed it as his own. In the best interest of blackmail and I extortion I handed over the passwords etc.

Then news came Whitecoin had broken. This actually came as I launched another coin for a customer and since recently being extorted from Whitecoin I had no interest in fixing or working for Monzongo.

But in less than 20 minutes, while releasing another coin I wrote a patch and passed it on and washed my hands dry.

For the next 5 days the Whitecoin "new"dev team consisting of Mindfox and Crypto West could not tune the patch I wrote originally that ended up being the POS patch. Since "no one"could fix it the price grew for the complete patch for the POS fix. This then ended up with Monzongo publicly offering on Skype a 5BTC bounty for the patch. 2 hours later I pushed the commits to github as the stupid dicks forgot to change the github password after the account was extorted.

For 2 weeks I waiting for the 5BTC payment and received nothing but promises of funds (5BTC) from Monzongo. As this point I posted a few earlier threads threatening to expose the truth. This fell on deaf ears with Monzongo threatening me in PM's to watch out.

After weeks of bickering I called a truce with Monzongo and walked away.

At this point some 8 weeks after the patch I still received nothing. Most other developers know this and will not touch Whitecoin until all development funds are paid.

To rub salt into the wound, crypto donations collected where sent to Crypt West and Mindfox who actually did nothing vs paying the bounty for the patch which was promised but never delivered.

Hope this clears things up.

Hi eveyrone, I doubt this is real as the original developer has expressed to me in writing that he no longer wishes to be paid.

EDIT: Mostly because I would think that the real developer would remember that he was the one who tried to extort me.... and this community....

If the majority of the members of the community agrees with it, I will just resign and relieve you of my presence (or absence, whichever you prefer).

Ownski, I wish you luck with your "bounties". The way you treat me, I treat you.

I do not think this is the time to get into discussions of "you did this, I said that .. etc", the reality is that currently WC is working properly and that improvements need to give a greater potential to this coin.
The programming is very complex (I started very many years ago in basic, pascal and delphi later years though since I left) and anyone who has ever programmed knows it is very difficult to give an eta or promise some results because basically almost impossible to know the problems that you'll have to find the path that must be solved.
That said, I think what we need is some way to access some improvements and I only would like to know your opinion about what you can and can not do and the funding needed to undertake these improvements.

Thank you very much for putting this out there and clearing the air and getting some center around this coin. Unless this was done, the coin was bound to be in a state of limbo. I can't thank you enough for coming here and setting the record straight.

I have records of irc chat where I recall Mogonzo offering to pay for work done and it being politely refused.
Along the lines of "I'm only to happy to promote interdev intercoin co-operation".
So my recollection of history is different to you.

Thank you.

I don't know the whole story on this, but I do know that you were trying to fix it while I already debugged it and announced my findings in the skype group-chat, where I was laughed at, cursed and even accused of not knowing what I'm saying.
Regarding the 5 days, here's where you're wrong. I debugged and announced my findings in one day time. Since then, I wanted to make it work correctly, since someone (I wonder who that could be) left the hard coded sync checkpoints from another coin (yes, ghostcoin) and the wallet was going nuts when trying to re-download the chain.
Also, from what I saw in that skype group-chat, you wanted some btcs payment for your so-called "patch", when I already released screenshots of my test wallet staking and was preparing to make a public test with it, to make sure that everything will work out just fine.
There is so much story behind this and I'm glad you brought it up.

Heres the important question. Can you implant the features the community wants and how much BTC will it cost us. We needed a new wallet months ago and want to add new features to make Whitecoin more attractive to everyone.
You really didn't read my post, did you?

Right, So I'll take that as a no.

So shall we start looking for another programmer? Other than one who makes a smug appearance every few months... What are the bounty limits we are willing to spend for the features we want?

Hi Everyone,

Now that the power situation has stabilized and that I've caught up on my IRL work, I'm now back on IRC for those who have been looking for me. Lots of updates and great things still in the pipeline. I'd like to thank mindfox for coming back to talk with us despite having a very full plate trying to balance family, IRL work, and crypto.

As some of you have probably guessed, I've held off on sending out our release about Bill C-31 until next week, the news cycle along with my own spotty internet/power situation didn't really support it being picked up this week.

Considering what a lively and interesting discussion we've had regarding anon features, I hope it's been made clear to everyone that while we have not cancelled any plans, we have indeed extended the community consultation process.

As a final note regarding the conversation on here of the last few days, I'd like to thank everyone who made a special effort to stay positive in the face of some difficult circumstances this week. I've been working in online communications now for many years, and in my professional opinion we are indeed seeing the work of coordinated trolls in our thread. As a result, we will be implementing some community guidelines and requesting that BCT grant our community the ability to moderate this thread.

Freedom of speech will always be respected by the WCF, but very soon any outright falsehood will be deleted mercilessly and without apology.

We've got some more good news coming for you soon, along with a financial update from the foundation tomorrow!

All the best,

Chris

I have lots of faith in you but we (as in the community) really need to start seeing some actual progress before everyone dumps this to 1 liteoshi.

P.S. I hope your smarter than censoring everyone.
