Just to be clear we will be returning the exact amount in ETH/BTC/LTC that you participated with minus the escrow fees. Although, I would like to mention that the same people who want the exact amount in crypto today would want exact amount in USD had the prices fallen since our whole presale was pegged to USD. Anyways, that is not us. We will send the exact amount in crypto back to whoever wants it.

Thanks!

Hey I just wanted to clarify this... when I participated in stage 1 Ether was around 300$...today currently 350$. Does that mean if I contributed 2 Ether 'today' it would be 700$ worth of WiC? Or was this meant for someone who wanted a refund because the prices of crypto went so high a couple days ago?

edit
sorry I did more digging and see its about people wanting refunds. Confusion is gone, refunds are for the weak.

I was wonderin the same question and got confused like you then I understood it totally after I read your message.

By the way, I'm in with 1.3 ether in WiC, but I'm still surprised how we couldn't pass $1,000,000 investment. It should have been more than the current one.

Yes Livecoin will be moving coins from the ETH market to the BTC market.

Edit: Less than 0.5 BTC left in the stage 1 of WiC/BTC market.

Token Sale update:

4,396,038.9 WiC has been sold till now in the token sale
$ value raised = $79,128.7002
Time elapsed: Around 1.5 days

1.42 BTC left in stage 1 of BTC/WIC
127.98 ETH left in stage 1 of ETH/WiC
We might need to move coins from eth market to btc market.

Less than a coin now on livecoin BTC/WiC.

I assume you transfer from ETH/WIC to BTC/WIC before it reaches the next level?

It is funny that $ price per token is higher in WIC_BTC than WIC_ETH but still most of the coins are sold in WIC_BTC market.  Wink

Quick question and its probably a newb one but needs answering for me:

I understand people can put in purchase orders for WIC because its open, but how do people but sell orders in? Because that part of the screen says not until 10.15.2017.

How does this work? And how did a small subset % circumvent the computer in that spot? Please shed some light on this for me, I truly am confused about it.

It is a tokensale by the devs now.

If they sell out the tokens will be delivered to the buyers and a day later the buyers can sell the tokens they own.
If they won't sell out the tokensale will end 15th of October, after that the tokens that are sold will be delivered to the buyers and the tokens that are unsold will be 50% given back to the devs and 50% destroyed by live coin.

So to sell everyone will have to wait until the tokensale ended, either by selling out or reaching 15th of October

That is a perfect explanation Stroto  Smiley

🖤😏
This is a true concept, almost 80% of the world population are using the internet, many of which use WiFi but the sad part is the laws and regulations surrounding the use of bandwidth in every region and every country. this one really deserves much more media coverage and public attention, who agrees with me that some amounts around $5M is required just to advertise this project in massive scale?

the high(open) price is 0.00000555btc,now is the 0.00000382btc
Some people put buy orders higher than ico price, before ico tokens was added for sell, so first ico tokens was sold at current buy order price which was 555 satoshi.

Hey, the reason why you the open price as 0.00000555 BTC/WiC on livecoin is because some people had buy orders set above the token sale price and those got filled when the token sale wall was placed.

Thanks!

fair enough that they did an app before relaunching their ico.

but isn't sharing your wiifi a really bad idea and also using wifi from another untrusted source another?

I mean am sure i read something about people getting hacked when they used wifi that was pretending to be legit.

Also with all the ransomware floating around etc....

I have the same kind of question. What is the official answer about Hacking Risk of being in the same network and illegal use of your wifi ? I saw that the answer was that the password is unencrypted, but it doesn't prevent being in the same network and using your IP.

Depending on your router, it is not hard to make a guest network that exclude users from exploring your private network, you can run it over a VpN to prevent your own id connected to what others do when connected.

As a user of a wic network (not sure depends on how the app connects) you can use a VpN too, to prevent peeking into your data usage.

Thanks.
If this kind of settings is necessary and a VPN becomes necessary to protect your data, it excludes the vast majority of people. I think this may be the main problem to solve.

The majority of people do not care about safety when using a free wifi anywhere, so why would they when using WiC? In any case for someone that wants to have data, it would be easier to hide an a free public network then when doing so on a router that has a location connected to them.

Guest networks are not that hard and at least where I live rather the norm when visiting someone. VpN is depending on your router, but in most cases as easy as uploading a file and turn it on.

Hey, creating guest networks running on VPN is one option for those that would want to do this. It is not compulsory though.

Also, as far as issues regarding illegal activity are concerned, there is no real incentive to use our app for illegal purposes since it would create unnecessary issues for that person. He could easily go to a Starbucks or McDonalds and use their WiFi; no reason to download this app, then buy WiC and then pay for it. We will also have a point in our terms and conditions that anybody using someone's WiFi is solely responsible for his actions and the owner is not liable for this user's actions. The owner will also have proof that someone else used the WiFi at a particular date and time since the app will have a record of this.
