I downloaded the Mac client and can't sync the wallet. I created the conf file as well as moved the wallet file in and out, still have issues getting the wallet to sync. Any ideas?

IMHO that doesn't make sense. The more info the more people buy in the greater the price. A week is forever in crypto. The herd will have moved on by then. Best to tell us the general future plans pretty soon.
We don't want the price to increase sharply during the PoW so that multi pool will not crash the price with constant dumping , this is a long term coin aimed for wider adoption in the market. Now is the best entry level for long term investors due to the low price, we will start promotional campaign very soon to attract more investors.

But I have another question myself for a more experienced member: What does 'Value out' means in the explorer? For example I have at block 2287 a value out of 750000 or at block 2283 there is 508,849.36278606 value out. Where do these values come from?
For a block, it's the sum of the value out of its transactions.Block 2283 has 4 transactions, but since it was generated through Proof Of Stake, the coinbase transaction (the first) is empty, the second is the stake plus fees, the last two others are fund transfers.
It's the pool/miner/wallet that extracted it, if that pool isn't "tagged" in the explorer, it falls under "Unknown".
I've now tagged DedicatedPool, CoinKing & TradeMyBit, so there are only 18% unknown now.
If you happen to know a pool that is mining XAN, let me know, and if there is enough info, I'll tag it, and its blocks will no longer be categorized under "unknown"!

Yes, marketcap is now at $32,250 and i don't think the total coins will be up to 1 billion lol due to the PoS blocks.

We are waiting for PoW period to end before releasing our road map. This step was taken to prevent multi-pools from crashing the coin value.
