Used pool http://mining.securepayment.cc

That pool (http://mining.securepayment.cc) is out-of-sync.

The following pools seems to be up-to-date. (please note that I have not used or tested them)

https://zpool.ca
https://www.starpool.biz/
https://zergpool.com
http://deutscherminingpool.de
http://cryptopool.at
https://xjo.thecoin.pw/

Also I don't speak Russian.*

Bceм пpивeт! Moжeт ли ктo-нибyдь пpoяcнить cитyaцию? цeпoчкa блoкoв joulecoin oтoбpaжaeтcя c бoльшим кoличecтвoм cвинцa, a в пyлe мнoгo, мoи тpaнзaкции нe видны aбcoлютнo в ceти, a в пyлe oни ecть. Или я чтo-тo нe пoнимaю?

Я нe знaю, кaкoй пyл вы иcпoльзyeтe. К coжaлeнию, нeкoтopыe пyлы имeют тeндeнцию к выxoдy из cинxpoнизaции (c paздeлeниeм цeпeй).

Ecли вы иcпoльзyeтe пocлeднюю вepcию Joulecoin Core - 0.10.4.2 или пoceтитe https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xjo/, вы мoжeтe пpoвepить пpaвильнocть выcoты блoкa.

B нacтoящee вpeмя нeт ничeгo нeoбычнoгo.
Bы мoжeтe пoпpoбoвaть coльнyю дoбычy для бoльшeй тoчнocти. *

Hi there! Can someone clarify the situation? joulecoin block chain is displayed with a large lead, and on the pool is behind by a lot, my transactions are not visible absolutely in the network, and on the pool they are. Or am I misunderstanding something?

I don't know which pool you use. Unfortunately some pools have a tendency to get out-of-sync (chain-split).

If you use the latest version of Joulecoin Core - 0.10.4.2, or visit https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xjo/ you can check the correct block height.

Currently nothing seems out of the ordinary.
You could try solo mining for greater accuracy.*

Greeting XJO lovers, I have taken an interest in this project thanks to IMZ, was having a bit of trouble building the joulecoin wallet so I created a fork on github and applied the following small fixes:

https://github.com/Shinoa-Fores/joulecoin/commit/c2983f8d6a74fca82a7581dd34275e869d17a94c

https://github.com/Shinoa-Fores/joulecoin/commit/84d7651604b4c2752722f4628af26571327f35cb  #only necessary for linux users using hardened+nomultilib kernels, but compiler warnings can safely be ignored.

These allowed me to build a wallet from source using gcc version 7.3.0 on Gentoo linux. It complains during the `./configure` step because I use LibreSSL, but will still compile using the `--with-libressl` flag, though this is also a simple enough fix, and I may publish the changes to github if anyone requests.

All in all a nice altcoin. I look forward to experimenting with it more with IMZ.  Cool

Presenting: https://joulecoin.info
Regarding domain choice, I was unable to get in contact with joulecoin.org owner. It would have been great if e.g. joulecoin.com and .org could represent Joulecoin Project.

Decentral-i-zing.

No 1 website represents the "coin".
The chain does.

But https://joulecoin.info is an awesome addition.

Have been quite busy the last couple of days making a new site for Joulecoin.

It's mobile friendly and is tested in IE 11, Firefox and Chrome.
I haven't been able to test it on a mac computer with Safari (since I don't own such hardware).

I will try to add content as I have time. Next thing I plan to add is documentation.

I hope our small community likes it. Smiley

Great colour scheme for the site.

And we are using the tx-comment function regularly.

And we are ready to set up a third trader in the Vz Project

The blockchain seems to be picking up nicely and seems to be heading back on track.

It is however a portion of users still using the 0.9.X.X version of Joulecoin with out-of-sync blockchain data.
But I guess it is mainly servers, which will update in time.

Anyone having issues to deposit joulecoins on Cryptopia? It seems like they are in another blockchain. Cryptopia blockchain is ahead but that blockchain is not the same we can find here:

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xjo/

It seems like they are using another version of the coin maybe?

from coininfo on cryptopia they are using an old wallet version (0.9.2.5).

the possible chainsplit occured 2 weeks ago.

I've sent them a supportticket, but currently no further actions have been done.
so if you are missing your coins, open a ticket too

I hope it gets resolved soon.

UPDATE:
I sent them a message as well.

Cryptopia wallet have now been placed in maintenance mode and is awaiting update.

XJO is being used in Venezuela?!?!

Yes, spazzdla.

We are not publicising the project yet (although the members of our alliance are following it). But we've had 'Vz Guy' running a wallet for several weeks -- the tx comments make an excellent communication channel (certainly if combined with PGP on Kleopatra). Today I have news of second and third wallets set up.

You are entitled to ask about our 'Verification' -- is this guy pulling our leg??

The focus is on simultaneously teaching Vz Guy to trade, and in using XJO as a 'training-coin' in Venezuela. We have a kitty of funds for the project, and are trying to get merchants to accept XJO as payment.

I will do that too. But in the  meantime I will use the older version of the wallet and sync the blockchain with their nodes, I should recover my coins that way too.
