I just discovered CPU mining at the beginning of March and that made me want to learn about coin mining in general, and then this stuff happens.

No, what's bullshit is that you're still doing this to the network. You don't have the right to complain about the network when you're single-handedly destroying it. Anything you say bears next to no relevance, so do us all a favor and shut the fuck up.
He's not destroying the network, just exploiting a weakness for profit. All miners should be benefiting from his exploit, unless the pool they're in shuts down before it ends.
He has claimed he can destroy the network if he wanted to, be happy his motivation is profit. There are, after all, some people who destroy things just for the LOLs.
Give joe some time to fix things, the network, and the coin, will be stronger in the end.
You and him must be the only ones getting rewards from this. I have not gotten anything since the last few days. I was bringing around a coin every other day. Now literally no deposits. So you and him can both explain how you are getting rewards and no one else is.
I described what I'm running a few pages ago, search if you really want to know. But I've got 1Mh, or 1000Kh, whichever you wish to call it. 9 servers running m-minerd (unmodified) and all mining solo into 1 Magi wallet v1.4.5.3 (64-bit) (also unmodified) running on a separate machine. All 10 of these are synced by ntpd to my own stratum 1 ntp server, which is synced to a GPSDO. No time manipulation or anything, everything is within 1ms of correct time. I point this last fact out as I've seen reference to a "time attack". I'm not trying any "voodoo" mining tricks, nor would I have a clue how to.
Last 2 days not so good, due to me trying my luck on minerclaim. ~10 yesterday, 0 today because they shut down. Probably won't get the 10 either, minerclaim wasn't great during previous attack. Switched back to solo. Keep in mind, not every day is great. Someday it's 0 or 1 or something, others maybe 15 or 40 or such, usually as 1 block, but the weekly average is good. And some days you hit lottery, 1 day it was over 160
Just keep mining, you can't win without playing.
