Finally got my new toy installed: an i9-7980xe. I've got a small but stable OC, and am wondering how well it would do on xmg. Can someone link the latest/fastest cpu miner?

I found a potential answer at this posting on the Cryptopia forum:

See if that helps
Thanks for sharing - to make you aware, a payment id is different from a transaction id, a payment id is used by certain currencies to identify a user in an exchange such as monero (magi doesn't need a payment id), a transaction id is an id that is stored in the ledger to identify that a transfer was sent from wallet A to wallet B

Here is some info on payment id

Hi everyone, sorry im new to the forums. Though ive been mining XMG and buying it for about 6 months now. Back before the hardfork.. and after the... problems.. I transfered 133 coins to cryptopia. They still have not credited me or responded to my service ticket. I'm very, very upset, how do i yell at them? Angry

Is it common to just ignore questions from newbies?

I also transferred to there and have not seen the coins. I had hope that they would show up after Cryptopia updated the wallet, but nope.

Have a support ticket in there with no response yet.

It is a Cryptopia issue though rather than a magi one.
Sorry  maybe we missed your question.
Do you use the latest walletversion?
Can you see the transaction confirmed in the chain?
If both are yes send support ticket to Cryptopia.
I know they are very busy because of the huge amount of new cliënts. But they will answer your ticket.
Thought i did respond on your question above. Cryptopia did update the wallets & its working fine. Don't received other messages about problems there.
Hi TashaSkyUp,

Do you have a transaction id? maybe that will make it easier to prove at least where your magi is currently sitting.

Magi team did try to contact Yobit in multiple ways. No respons yet. Still hope they will update the wallets!
Starmman can you try also. Noticed you sig, maybe you have some connections there?
I tried sending a full coin update request last week - no response so far. Some of the russian guys on Reddit have also been trying/

My sig is just for a sig campaign - they are so slow that they still give a 30k satoshi per post payout

If like you say Magi is talking to cryptopia/exchanges then Magi can simply respond with "I emailed them wednesday about them stealing everyones XMG. They said they are working on it" or some such response. Simple. This is not the XMG development forum right? so then its the community forum, no? So advice, support and recommendations for the the community, of which I am a stake holder.

or is this nothing more than the "Post another XMG is great post" Forum? That doesn't sound incredibly useful now does it?

Its not bcoz of newbies its this kind of lines "Is it common to just ignore questions from newbies?"
Almost everyone here want to help, but questions about exchanges like this we can not answer and we r not responsable for them.
Magi is always busy speaking with the exchanges telling them what the problems r, but we cant do more then that.

HODL. Patience.

Evergreen Coin have added a charity staking feature to their wallet - which enables to donate a percentage of reward to good causes or marketing campaigns, its currently helping to fund a school in a refugee camp - maybe something similar could be added to magi to get some funds in, although a little more difficult as we are PoW and PoS.

I think something like that is a great idea. Just a little tick-box in the wallet with a text field to enter a % amount?

Also, would you be kind to share some info on the team behind the XMG ?

I've been asking this for weeks with basically no response. Joe did an itty-bitty personal Q&A somewhere around this thread 1120. Nobody else has been very responsive. I keep threatening to PM starman and joe for tech details so I can write up a thing for the marketing efforts - which are so minimal they may as well not exist, BTW.

Want to see this coin gain and then stabilize in value (eventually, maybe, someday, (probably never, just like every other coin))? Great. Let's form a non-profit corporation; fund it with, well, anything from anywhere. Then actually pay developers and a marketing team.

What we currently have is basically the results of a volunteer dev+marketing team. The team did not bootstrap any sort of foundation with a pre-mine or ICO, so there are no funds to support development or marketing.

@111magic, do you have any more to say on this topic? I know you have been talking a little on #slack about finding a way to fund a marketing campaign.

Yes amigo i will respond on this tonight.
So quote reserved!😉
