Blockchain with solar energy
why this shit got so much attention??
cost to mine is too high, not just the electric cost, but the cost of your cpu that useless even when it didn't mine enough coin before it broke.
and transaction seem to be not that influent. and even with that critical problems, develop team still had no response for weeks...
the marketcap never reach high if they don't have some kind of big change.

Hi. will the pow rewards ever be adjusted for the network weight now, or is this going to be the block reward structure from now on? i only ask because across all cpu coins the hash rate has increased a fair amount over the last few months.

Yeah, I do agree the the delisting of this coin makes no sense, as it is being actively developed and has some great features. I think maybe the decision to delist was made last year some time, but they didn't take the recent rise in popularity into account unfortunately. I would say that the coin is undervalued at this point.
If polo agree with our sentiments they will certainly add magi again , however they will only list the coins which will make them the most immediate profit - they don't seem to take risks on coin listings these days - so don't think it'll be all that soon - unless they somehow manage to tackle their coin capacity related technical problems...

Thanks Wahid Mukti good to see you here again.
Magi is working on sort of crowdfunding page for developments fund. Starting without ICO (old school) is great but also has some cons.

Another good new message today:

Magi XMG added on another exchange today:
https://btcpop.co/Exchange/XMG

Thanks BTCpop!

Can anyone tell me why my wallet would just give "transaction failed" error when trying to send my coins?!

Man this coin seems like it is ALWAYS so unpleasant to deal with.  Staking has always been super problematic to point I haven't even bothered in like 2-3 years lol...every time I try again another road block and I throw my hands up.  Couple months or so ago someone here tells me I need to move all my coins and move back separated into 3 addresses and it would stake again...well, that's kinda hard when wallet keeps telling me I can't move my own coins!

Jeeze as old as this project is you would think it would just fricken stake like it's supposed to without all these constant problems the user has to deal with:-(

in the wallet program what version are you running?
e.g.
Code:
getinfo
{
"version" : "v1.4.5.3",
"protocolversion" : 71064,
"walletversion" : 60000,
...
...
...
}

1.4.5.3

That is really nice news too, but pls try to add Magi to Poloniex  Cool

Magi used to be on Poloniex, and it (amongst a lot of other great coins) was delisted under very suspicious circumstances - which ended up with Polo dropping from being the top alt exchange and many people across the crypto world losing trust. Meanwhile volume and interest in Magi was increasing and a lot of global trade traffic moving to trex. Personally, I wont be pushing Polo to list Magi again.

Play Bitcoin PVP Prediction Game
Hi all,

As you all experience, these are crazy days in the world of digital currency.
Magi has also had a blurry busy period behind it.
In a post last week ago i told you all more about the Magi team.
The team has done its utmost to bring as good news as possible today. The addition to a new exchange has already been announced. TradeSatoshi added Magi! Another exchange planned to add Magi also but this deal went wrong!

Team Magi is working on the new improved version of the Magi Standalone Payment gateway.
At the moment not many altcoins have this development!

MagiPay (m-pays)
MagiPay is a payment gateway for Coin MAGI. The motivation of developing MagiPay is MAGI being used in a relatively easy way. MagiPay is standalone and unique to MAGI. Features:

Using MagiPay is totally free for Merchants; customers have to pay transaction fees.
MagiPay is uniquely designed for Coin Magi, independent of any other payment gateways. Custom requests will be sent to tailoring MagiPay functions.
No payments are held by our server. Funds are available to merchants upon 6 confirmations.

The goal for Magipay is to launch it in March.

Magi received a lot of feedback about the current website.
That is why the team decided to build a new and more modern website.
This will also be launched in March.

Also, a Wiki-Magi is being developed.
This allows the community and new Magi enthusiasts to consult various information in an orderly and clear manner.

There has been much talk about the low rewards for the miners over the past period
That is why a give-away will be launched next Sunday to support & reward the small miners (minors with low hashrate).
More info and rules will follow on Bitcoingarden.

In addition, a give-away will be organized to get more attention for Magi. More focused on social media.
More info about this give-away will be posted on Bitcoingarden.

Magi is in discussion to launch wallets for android and OS.
We can not give an exact launch about this yet.

Magi team is aware of the fact that there are people who have counted on more news. We must mention that in the Crypto world we are dependent on third parties for some developments. Our patience is also put to the test sometimes. As soon as there is more news, we will share this with the community.

As you know, Magi started without an ICO or a large budget.
Almost all developments are made for free or with a small compensation.
Magi will work on a crowdfunding page to realize more new developments faster.

Thanks for reading

Hello 111magic, glad to hear that after all this year magi still in active development. How're our dev anyway? i think joe now much busy than before. Since we have a lot competitor out there. But magi is the only one with unique development. Agree with your last announcement this project has start from nothing and or small compensation. Magi need a lot support to make it huge.

Best regards
WM

Before the hard fork an amount of 3500 XMG were mined everyday.
Nowadays hardly 250 are mined.
You should expect a real price explosion...  Undecided
Think it should come after correction on btc & crypto.

I was going to update the wallet (I was on a quite old version), but the Virustotal score of the last version of the wallet is 20/59 positives. Is the wallet compromised?

Thanks!

The wallet should be safe so long as you take it from the official source - the virus warings are usually false positives due to the IRC notifications which are in the clients
