I think this will be the 3rd time I quote myself as people don't seem even care to read back or search the thread...
Staking is working absolutely fine. The network is highly competitive, thus stake difficulty is high, and if you do not have any basic understanding of how input optimization is achieved, you will be losing out on a lot of potential rewards, and you have no one to blame but yourselfUndecided

I can help over a chat session at Freenode IRC #quotient.
If you don't normally use IRC, here's a direct link...

Here are instructions on how to split blocks for those unfamiliar with the process:

To split coin blocks, you need to enable the coin control features (wallet > settings > options > display > display coin control features). Then select one block at a time, and send it to yourself, adding your (same) address as the 'custom change address'. Manual block selection is achieved by opening send > inputs, and picking the desired block from the expanded list.

So say you start by selecting a 1000 XQN block. You then send yourself a transaction of 500 XQN, but specifying the change address as your own as well. Once you hit send, you will be splitting that 1000 XQN block into 2x 500, a primary transaction, plus change, back to your original address. Rinse and repeat as many times as necessary.
I'm not blame anybody.Trying learn best way to invest in Quotient. However my other coins ( don't want to put name of coins at Quotient to avoid scam) staking very well.Only Quotient stake in my wallet got hickup.

If you are kind enough can you make a video please thanks!

Not happening.
If you're still clueless after reading the instructions, here's another suggestion, this one anyone can do:

Move all of your funds back into the exchange in one go. Once all of your XQN is sitting on the exchange, withdraw your coins back to your wallet, but in small chunks at a time. So if you have 10,000 coins there, make for example 10x withdrawals of 1,000 coins each. All set.

Anyone that really wants further help, hop on IRC, or take your shot with the various instructions already posted.
Happy Staking!

What do you want to know?
These staking issues are user errors or misconceptions of how staking works.
I've been staking for 3 months without an issue.
You guys having issues need to google coin control.

I don't have time to help right now, maybe myagui can take care of you guys. Cedric just went to bed.

Yes, you got it!
Do try and optimize your inputs, by having blocks sized around ~600 to ~1200 coins each (there's instructions on this a few pages back if you need them). For the current level of competition on the network, don't expect to stake at anywhere close to 16 hours though, most times it will take quite a bit longer.
Hm..This man is not alone to have problem with stake.I have a nice deposit in my wallet and now is over 48 hours and not staking at all.  I'd checked out all set up ( 618 size of block)  bottom of wallet when I'd hovered  arrow  ,yesterday   seen message   567 days to get reward,.Today morning is showing 9 day and now is showing 8 days. All my coins are mature. So what wrong is that. Also i don't have any idea what size will be reward.Because  if I can get only 0.29 coin from 10k deposit   then stake don't have sense at all and I'm start thinking to dump all 10 k at exchange and wait til price will drop and buy again.I think that this way I can get bigger reward then waiting with freeze coin for $ 0.003206  income a day .Well, maybe I'm wrong .Rather counting on  spike price at exchange .
Last minute stake message. Changed from 8 days to 9 days again and over and over again  ...from 9 days to 8 days from 8 days to 9 days ( I'd checked all set up and seems that should be ok but is not)

will it help if i put my coins on different wallets? some coins gain advantage by doing that right?

No advantage versus simply splitting your single stack into multiple stacks in smaller denominations. Use the auto optimization feature for ease of use.

okay thanks! i dont understand what  is optimizing your input by halving block size ill just put my coins and stake normally thanks!!
