Im sure most people aren't slightly worried. For any mid range hands I would call them, Do not sell the weak hands are doing this to the charts. Swoop in at these prices while you can.
Just gotta wait for the banks to open so I can buy more btc and get them Smiley

Damn XQN is really taking some hits... No updates ?

The significant updates affecting Quotient/XQN, rely on development progress on Sapience/XAI. Very briefly, CedricQuotient provided new testnet binaries just a day or two ago (mostly bug fixes), and coding continues full steam ahead. Impatient ones, be gone  Wink

Fall seven times, stand up eight.
How many coins would be there in total after a year?
Probably around 25-30 million.

Would not there be a deflation in prices then?

i cant figure out if there is something wrong with my xqn. i think im staking very slow.

2/24/2015 10:28AM
until 2/27 4:25pm i only got 11 rewards.

i have 30k coins

is that normal?
Yes its normal. With 30k you Will have between 6-8 rewards per day now I think

i only get 2-3 per day
Now. Wait few days more, your staking weight will go higher.

Do you separated your coins?

yes but i'm at auto optimize now

well i dont actually use my android phone so i can leave it charging while staking. how can i back my wallet if it is in an android phone?

@whoever can answer what is the purpose of xqn and xai? is it xqn powering xai or vice versa? is it xqn funding xai or vice versa. it isnt clear on what ive read or im just dumb haha. thinking buying xai cause it is related to xqn but im thinking if xqn is a better buy than xai because of high stake rewards
The linkage between xqn and xai was simply that we were going to put a feature in XQN that consumes the XAI blockchain application platform as kind of a reference client to demonstrate how to do it.  For that feature you would be using XQN to pay for use.  Don't forget that XAI also has an 11% PoS interest rate.

thanks for the answers! hoping for the new android wallet to come out

trying the android wallet. it looks like it was rushed
It wasn't "rushed", but it is the desktop client cross-compiled for Android.  The existing desktop client is a QWidgets application, which doesn't really play nice on mobile as far as dpi-awareness etc. so you get some weird stuff with font sizes etc.  XAI will be getting a complete wallet rewrite with a focus on a user experience that is more in line with what you would expect on a phone, tablet, and phablet.  That said, XQN with the blake-256 PoS algorithm is probably the most well-suited for staking on a mobile device since blake-256 is not as resource-intensive.

Like I said, it has some visual artifacts. This is not some "rush job", it is the full desktop wallet, but compiled for Android. It is not a wallet specifically built for mobile devices or touch interfaces at this point.

Great ... Thanks!
Wondering how well it works and if it stakes properly.

Apart from some visual artifacts from resizing to a smaller screen (which I hear will be fixed at some point), it should work just fine. I haven't tried this one myself, but I know that people using the one for Sapience/XAI, were able to stake without any issues. The only trouble I'd anticipate, is that given the high difficulty on XQN staking, you might need to have the wallet open/staking at all times (for better stake chances), and I can only guess that doing so might drain your battery pretty quick.
I just installed the android wallet and waiting for the "synchronizing with network" to finish before transferring some coins to it.
