Hi, will i recieve stakes if i transfer my YC coins from exchange to wallet?

If you keep your wallet up and un-encrypted for the desired period yes , this is who pos works.

also this
10% daily POS period has finished, it's 3.65% annual stake now.

Thanks for the tip @YCproject! Smiley

Just forgot to add, that users need to delete old peers.dat file, otherwise banned nodes still connect and mess things around.
Also, I'm looking forward to mint indicator in wallet. I wish I had more free time, I could help with coding...

@sinstr - if You have normal unlimited internet, You can delete everything in roaming folder, except wallet.dat and config file and re-download blockchain (currently my YellowCoin appdata folder is 173 MB)

OK, here is my list of nodes in config file, feel free to ban nodes if that annoys You too.

Code:
# banned nodes that misbehave on network (they have more blocks then there actually is)
bannode=24.18.25.145
bannode=107.2.250.115
bannode=113.67.141.249
bannode=213.16.240.58
bannode=218.56.164.138

# official nodes from YellowCoin original post
addnode=46.51.141.123
addnode=54.193.164.68
addnode=54.255.109.199
addnode=115.28.241.156
addnode=115.29.51.156

EDIT: I just noticed that I don't have YC tips address in signature, now I do Cheesy

Thanks waldistons! Just added your bannodes to OP and sent 500 YC to you.

This is what I'm talking about misbehaving nodes! How are You supposed to mint with wallet like this?

http://s25.postimg.org/yfcv9cmov/2014_05_14_14_20_49.png

@sinstr - close wallet, backup wallet.dat, delete peers.dat and add only official nodes in config file.

Thanks... I have tried all of that, also tried adding in the 'bannodes' to my conf.. Anything else I can try?

thanks dev, that's what I wanted to know. When I'm done, I'll add "bad" nodes here, so You can add them in OP if You wish Smiley

no I didn't fixed it! there is nothing I can do about network nodes! Now wallet is normal again. But its only temporary.

If someone didn't understand where is the problem - there are nodes on network that have more blocks than official nodes and block explorers. So when wallet connects to such node, it tries (but luckily it fails) to sync 6000+ blocks of wrong chain, uses a lot of cpu resources and stops minting.

Please use bannode command in the .conf temporarily:

addnode=115.29.51.156
addnode=115.28.241.156
addnode=54.193.164.68
addnode=46.51.141.123
addnode=54.255.109.199
bannode=213.16.240.58

I'm also buying some YC, this coin is going to have a big future with this strong community so keep calm because news are going to appear, people is going to get interested and thiscoin is going to visit the moon!

How I like when people with account less than 1 month old make those statements.

Hey, my YC wallet is stuck downloading block 109604, getting these errors in my debug file

ERROR: CheckProofOfStake() : INFO: check kernel failed on coinstake
WARNING: ProcessBlock(): check proof-of-stake failed for block

Can any suggest the best way to get this going again?
