That's what a "watching" wallet does: it watches the address but doesn't allow you to make any transactions. If you want to transact, create a regular wallet, not a watch-only. The rest of the process would be same, import private key etc.

Hmmm, I don't know what I'am doing wrong with it .

I think it's not possible with this one https://github.com/BTCP-community/electrum-zcl/releases/tag/Z!1.0.0

!! HODL !!
......

Or do I have to wait till the fork and I get BTCP on my paperwallet?

Paper wallets are generally used for long-term investment (when you just want to HODL the coin for long term and don't want to spend them in near future). That saves you from installing a fully-functional wallet and from having to download the entire blockchain data to your computer.

That said, your ZCL are safe and you'll also get 3.28 BTCP for that. You don't have to do anything yet.

However if you want to spend or transfer your ZCL now, I can help you run the Swing wallet.

Thank you all...

I have installed latest electrum wallet, import address, I see my zcl... but I can not send it, it's watching only wallet.

Here's a quick summary of the 4 people that posted actual results in the last 2 pages of this thread.

Suprnova | 3600 sol/s | .205 ZCL per 24 hours | 0.000057 ZCL per sol in 24 hours | Shitnoff
MPH | 5300 sol/s | .275 ZCL per 24 hours | 0.000052 ZCL per sol in 24 hours | MrTDHP
MPH | 4800 sol/s | .226 ZCL per 24 hours | 0.000047 ZCL per sol in 24 hours | dempsey1200
MPH | 25000 sol/s | 1.50 ZCL per 24 hours | 0.000060 ZCL per sol in 24 hours | amalkey

Obviously, this isn't enough data to come to any meaningful conclusions but there's quite a disparity in efficiency.  The only thing I can think of is using different mining programs and maybe timing of some block awards.  I might try out Suprnova pretty soon.

I wrote a paper on Bitcoin, trying to gauge the value of total crypto over the next few years. I found the range could vary widely from 1.6 to 5 trillion. With BTCP as a top 10 coin, that could imply a market value of 300 to 500 billion, with a per coin value of 15 to 20k? Any thoughts from anyone else on coin value 5 years from now?

You really planning to hold it that long? May be equal amount of BTC will outperform BTCP in 4 years so you never know. May be it is better strategy to buy BTC and hold. But as I wrote in another post here, my very speculative guess is 1000$ (500$ at least) by the end of the year 2018.So say if you holding equal amount of BTC (1 BTC) and ~74 ((ZCL)BTCP), then if BTC is not 37k (at least) by the end of the year, then you done a good job. BTCP is technically better than BCH,BTG and has privacy feature. And I think a LOT of people will eventually move to this anon-coins because of the regulatory trend that is inevitable. But in 5 years.Hell man. It may be 10k,but then BTC might be 100-200k. But then you getting 740k in years by holding BTCP and only 100-200k by holding equal BTC.It is really hard to tell which coins are to HODL long term, but one thing at the beginning of the year is evident - care ZCL and claim your BTCP. This thing is going to capture top 20 sooner or later. Either people want it or not.

Hey Ama.  Curious to know where you are getting your 0.08 per day benchmark.  I've been mining ZCL for a couple days now with 1080TI's and if your benchmark is correct, my results are dreadful.  I'm using SMOS with MPH.  The last 24 hours payout is 0.197 with 6 miners.  That's less than 50% of your benchmark!!!

There are 2 rigs and combined are running around 4800 sol/s.  I'm using the dstm-v0.5.8 miner but would be hard-pressed to believe it's 50% less efficient.

Anyone else have any real-world results they can share?

My total hashrate is around 5300 sol/s and daily payouts so far ranges about 0.25-0.3. Also using dstm 0.58 and MPH. Win10.

I got 0.0263 ZCL outta 10 hours of mining with 2 1080ti's... is this reward considered as normal?

Also, the gpu's are loaded just by 90%, using this string:
nheqminer.exe -cd 0 1 -t 0 -l europe.zclassic.miningpoolhub.com:20575 -u login.workername -p password

You should get about 0.08 per day.  So for 10 hrs, 0.0263 seems to be low...

0.0263 x (24/10) = 0.063

You are getting only about 75% of what you should. Depends on miner, pool, luck, other variables.

EWBF is best and MPH pool

I stil don't have a wallet ( see my posts about it if you can ).

I have my zcl on http://explorer.zclmine.pro/address/t1eHGJV6tBs4Qq7PLCxsjxoPcmU6ZaTPHBs , and I can NOT withdraw it.

I am giving 0.7 zcl to anyone who wants to deposit 2.5 zcl to my cryptopia wallet. If you do that I give you the key from the paperwallet above. Please contact me here of email [email protected].

Or do I have to wait till the fork and I get BTCP on my paperwallet?

Guys just wanted to ask if what mining pool you are using right now?
I'm currently using zcl.suprnova.cc pool and i'm not satisfied because my logs or mining hash rate is stable while in their dashboard hashrate is low..
Can you recommend other mining pool which is stable hashrate or accurate hashrate in dashboard thanks..

I'm using zcl.suprnova.cc; no major complaints besides the fact that their web UI is slow. However I would like to know how you're determining that they're not doing well for you in case I'm missing something.

You probably know this already, but the miner's hashrate will almost always be different from that of the pool. The miner shows the actual hashrate based on the real GPU work done (unless the miner is inflating its numbers to look better, but we kind of have to 'trust' them). The pool calculates your hashrate based on the number and frequency of accepted shares you send in. The sending of shares by the miner to the pool is an intermittent activity, sometimes you'll get two in a minute, other times you wait several minutes between shares (it IS guess-work, after all).

But to better understand the issue, it would be helpful to give some numbers from both the miner and suprnova, so people can help out.

  • What miner (mining software) are you using?
  • What are your rig(s) configuration/setup? How many GPUs, etc?
  • Do you overclock? What are your settings
  • How long did you run the miner for on this pool before determining it's 'low'?

There are a lot of factors, obviously.

I wrote a little script to pull share/hash rate & earning stats from suprnova's API - I only use it for 'real-time' display purposes, but I'm thinking of storing historical data so I can see things over time and better determine success vs problematic behaviour.

Anyhow, in answer to your real question, I can safely say, don't use zclmine.pro. I had major latency issues when submitting shares.

And with some exchanges or purses already have an agreement? It's common when forks are made, coins are awarded for free.

awarded for free ?? It's a fork, there is no "award, reward" or gift. The new currency is using the previous ledger, 2 in this case, not sure how they will manage to do it.

True some exchange keep the coins associate with the address on their exchange, thats why its best to keep them in your wallet.

Thanks mate, that was helpful.

EWBF is really not the best. Not sure why he is telling you this. Bminer or even DSTM are better than EWBF.

If they time the fork around the next BTC bullrun which is coming at the end of this month then BTCP has a good chance of making it big.Timing is everything ! The more you delay the fork the more FUD and lesser price action on ZCL and hence BTCP.
