Poloniex definitely has a position in protecting Zcash (ZEC) and not listing ZCoin (XZC) or ZClassic (ZCL) so much for free markets . We as a community need to use more decentralized exchanges like Bitsquare https://market.bitsquare.io/?market=xzc_btc or OpenLedger openledger .

What's with poloniex? Zcoin is a pearl of crypto world and they don't add it on exchange.... there are coin's with 50.000$ daily volume and poloniex add them. Such a shame for poloniex!

Zcoin (XZC) is proud to be the first coin to have a working implementation of the MTP proof of work! MTP has been launched on our testnet and there will be a period of testing where we fix bugs and tweak the parameters to ensure a smooth roll out on mainnet soon.
Solo mining already works through the inbuilt miner (setgenerate true) and djm34 is working on a GPU implementation of the miner.
For those of you who code, you can participate in the test through our Github on the MTP branch here: https://github.com/zcoinofficial/zcoin/tree/mtp. We are aware of some bugs and are working to fix them so the code will still be rapidly changing. Note that there may be numerous restarts on the testnet. Remember after compiling to run it with the -testnet flag or define it within zcoin.conf!

it's so great news. Zcoin will become the most interesting coin in this year. I like the stable price of zcoin and it's increasing in the step by step.
MTP algo will be a big hit from now on and all big investors will be fully rewarded then.

i am agreeable to the 1-2 months for testing and transition, MUCH testing, So stability!
I will be snagging a copy to try it out, get some numbers so we can start seeing how this new algo runs on GPUs

But the proof that it's on the testnet shows that we do have a working implementation (and the first to do it) and that our development is real and not bandying the 'mtp' thing about. Good Job Zcoin Team !

Why i cant sync my wallet? It always gets stuck at block 3518 
Start the wallet with the -reindex flag if you're on windows it's zcoin-qt.exe -reindex
This should fix it.
Our utmost priority after MTP is to fix these usability issues.

U should be more precise here. 8 bucks is nowhere near what I plan to sell mine at. This is sucker rate. But we can always think bigger, I mean really big. What if someone pulls a gun on u and makes u call ZEC floor under the condition that an attacker will shoot u if ur forecast comes a cropper. What would be ur call. I have enough courage to call 2.5k usd.

Why i cant sync my wallet? It always gets stuck at block 3518
How long has it been stuck there for? my wallet on the first sync seems to be varying in speed quite a bit, took me 5 days to get to 16 weeks, then it corrupted during a power cut, started again then it synced down to 4 weeks within 20 hours and has been going slow again from there, going about 1 block an hour atm, then will speed up again in a few hours, seems very random. There's no such thing as a 100% safe investment.

I have made some good investments, but I have made horrible ones as well.
I own some XZC, because I see potential in this tech.
Yet I rather tell others to focus on the fundamentals than listen to others.
