I tried the Linux 64bit GUI wallet on my Ubuntu 16.04.
I can open it. But it crashed in a few seconds with a segment core error.

Also I tested the message system,and pics coming in a sec. Just doing a couple tests first
mypool now has over half of the total hash rate.
It's great to see the progress.

how to set mining solo on cpu?
there are some information in OP.
open ./simplewallet
use command line to start mining
Are you trying to connect to the pool?
To solo mine just download the binary based on your OS.
Run the identityd executable.
Then run the simple wallet.
Create a wallet with "g"
Create a password.
Type help for commands
To start mining type
start_mining

Why is explorer doesn't working?
It's not finished it's just for total and max coins at the moment.
Here is a short timeline to clarify.
-upload visual roadmap and announcement page
-finish block explorer
-open block explorer to any cryptonote coin
-create interactive road map
-update website and pool/explorer pages

hash rating is increasing. so me it is difficult to mine.
