Anarchy is not chaos.
People not understand what version is actual. It does not matter??
So lets remove versions from all softaware. Because its not matter.

 Cheesy

he's right, 'it not matter'

it software, which is, in essence - holding no matter.

But matter is energy, and energy was expended to make the metal shavings align correctly on the HD, which are slowed enough to be considered matter, anyway. So what's the matter?

On the issue at hand, I have to agree with those hollering. Not incrementing the versions tends to be very confusing.

Anarchy is not chaos.
I start to think that devs is so newbie (нуб кароче), because he or she have not skills to simple change version number when release new wallet.

http://www.thescribe.eu/version.jpg

i am about windows version

then it's your choice to use a crap OS  Cheesy stop whinging about something that makes no difference to the functionality of the coin.

Long time ago i saved money for a mac. But then i took that money and i bought a better pc and a car.

Sounds about right!

Now get Ubuntu, and things will continue to improve Cheesy

I'm a Windows guy, but two things have forced me to start migrating to Ubuntu.

One, Windows 8/8.1 Second worst abortion in the history of Windows, and they did so good with 7.
Two, my job requires me to deal with linux.

So, I have been, and it's a cool system! I may abandon Windows altogether once I get more competent at Ubuntu.

What's the current block number in your Sync client?  I'm on Mobile so I don't have the wallet running

I successfully compiled sync-Qt for Ubuntu...

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/80376827/sync/sync-qt

congrats!

Even better; let people compile it from source directly:

Code:
sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install qt4-dev-tools libqt4-dev libqt4-core libqt4-gui

sudo apt-get install build-essential libssl-dev libdb++-dev libqrencode-dev

sudo apt-get install git

git clone https://github.com/MsCollec/sync.git

cd sync

qmake "USE_UPNP=-"

make

./Sync-qt

sudo apt-get install libxtst-dev build-essential libqt4-dev qt4-qmake
sudo apt-get install libdb++-dev

sudo apt-get install build-essential
sudo apt-get install libssl-dev
sudo apt-get install libdb4.8-dev
sudo apt-get install libdb4.8++-dev
sudo apt-get install libqrencode-dev
sudo apt-get install libboost-all-dev

sudo apt-get install git

git clone https://github.com/MsCollec/sync.git

cd sync

qmake "USE_UPNP=-"

make

./sync-qt

Just in case you forgot to uncomment the line saying: "coins.sendAll(_CORSARO);"  Grin

Sorry if this is a silly question, but what happens if I close my wallet while it's staking?

I need to go somewhere now and need to bring my mac with me, but the wallet is currently staking.

If I close it for 10 mins and then re-open when I have Internet access again, will that screw anything up?

you may lose all your coins if you do that

That's Bullshit. Nothing bad happens if you close your wallet.

Agreed here. Your coins will be fine.

Your coins are actually stored in wallet.dat, which is why you back up that file and NEVER give it to anyone
Your coins are stored in the blockchain and wallet.dat contains the key to your part of the blockchain.
There's no problem to disconnect from the chain as long as someone out there maintains the chain. Your coins will not start staking if you are not connected, but the other nodes will continue confirming the coins you already have for stake until they are finished and falls back to your availability again. This happens whether you are online or not.

can someone post fully updated sync.conf file, seeing some scattered data.. new nodes and such..

thanks in advance! let the sync begin!

the one that made it work for me last night:

Code:
server=1
listen=1
rpcuser=youruser
rpcpassword=x
rpcport=24240
addnode=180.112.192.227:24241
addnode=173.49.209.122:6334
addnode=24.95.49.203:60510
addnode=69.164.173.234:59954

I have summed up all the nodes that have been mentioned to be working
personally i'm only using the top 6
but these others apparently work but i can't say for sure
as i don't know how to check them myself
and can't do them one by one as i'm staking

maybe the dev can confirm whihc from this list are the correct ones

listen=1
rpcuser=user
rpcpassword=pass
