Hi!

I'm not an original dev of this coin, but I have been helping, as you might have noticed.

There is a fix already done, I will push it to github tonight. As someone noted, the source code is public, so you all can review the code. Actually, I hope you do, because these kind of changes on a live coin are risky. The more eyes check it, the better.

You (or I) don't need the priv keys for fixing the coin.

The root cause of the problem is integer math, which will end up with 0 with small coins at these coin parameters.

The hard fork time is planned to be 2.6 18.00 GMT (or whatever the blockchain tz is), but if you all vote for earlier or later time, it can still be changed.

I looked at the source code, it has alot in common with the novacoin source. Someone could check out with windiff or any other source comparer to find the differences. main.cpp would be the first to compare

again, my friend wishes to remain anonymous (and has good reason)
we need the key. simple as that. i can't go any further into it.

Considering a few of us are genuinely here to promote and give this coin a future, rather than just dump it asap. Then I have no problem with this person looking at the code. There are plenty of reasons not to reveal who you are, some contractual, some personal. The fact that you are known rascal, means I trust your judgement on this, whichever way the community decides, I'm easy.
I think raskuls out, thats his choice, but we still have a problem and we need it solved.

This is all very disjointed and again i have to ask that we all publicly put down our intention to help
so we know who of us we can deal with and not have to put up with stupid remarks and trolls.

I suspect that the best way forward is to ask the top 30 wallets to contact me so that I can
organise some way for us all to communicate with some sort of authority whihc is what is seriously
lacking here.

MScollec needs assurance that he's not just going to hand over the key willy nilly and i can agree with that
in principle but the key will need to be handed over in order for the fixes to occur its as simple as that.

all those in favour of this please contact me so i can get the ball rolling and set up some form of structure
in order to get things done, just posting on this thread is not going to get us anywhere,

i'm out. I don't trust MsCollec whatsoever.
i'll leave my node up for the good of the community. it's not a huge cost each month.

Stop for a sec, don't be so impulsive if something we don't need right now is confrontataions. I also have concerns about MsCollec but we are all still here.

I completley agree and those of you with the childish remarks are not helping piggie please go somewhere else
if you have syncs prove it and have your say but you have not contributed anything to date except trolling!

I dont think it is unrealistic to know who the dev is before handing over the key to everyones money.

I agree that we the community should know who it is before he is given the key. Just in case a large group of people have issues with the new developer.

The whole thing has to be transparant. I don't want to see a new user account pop up, someone put their name to it.

fair enough, the developer I have asked to have a look at the code has asked to remain anonymous until he/she can come to a decision whether to help, or not. If it is the case that the majority rule to know who this person is prior to giving out the key, then I'll advise my developer they are not required after all.

please someone now find a developer with enough ability to fix this coin.
I've done my best. Sorry if it wasn't enough for some.

I appreciate your efforts to solve this, but I would like to know who is the dev. At least in PM an it seems that others would like to. To see if he can help I dont think he need the key. And that is coming from a holder of one of top 5 wallets + some coins on mint. If we as community are taking over development of coin why would anyone wanted to change known dev to unknown one!?! At least board memeber/foundation should know who he is and what has he done till now.

I don't want another dev! I trust MsCollec in this and that's why I have mined and bought into the coin. If he's busy now and want to wrap everything done so far into a v.2 and release it before he goes superbusy at work, I'm fine with it and I'm ready to wait months or years for the next iteration, as long as obvious bugs are fixed by him or by helping hands from the community. I'm a long term investor and know that the blockchain will continue forever as long as we keep the wallets online and stake the coins regularly.

I have seen other coins been taken over by a wellmeaning dev before, but they have a tendency to get step-motherly treatment (like MIM) so my 0.9% vote (if owned coins matters at all) goes against "taking away MsCollec's baby and give it to another dev"

All cryptos are FIAT digital currency. Do not use.
Why on earth would a developer need keys to look at the source? It's open source and completely available to look at - https://github.com/MsCollec/sync

It is for the same reason a dev would release a ponzi shitcoin.

Anything to perpetuate the scam.

I for one vote NO! too giving ANYONE the KEYS to the kingdom without knowing who they are and what they have done before...and also a road map of what they plan to develop for the coin. That's my 10+ Sync Vote

We all want the code fixed

and we all need transparency so basically

whoever works on the coin does not have to come out

but if this is the case then they cannot expect to be paid upfront

until MSCOLLEC reviews the code themselves as well as we the community confirm

that the coin is fixed and a new wallet done

Thats how things work in the real world and thats how things MUST WORK HERE!

If they can agree to that then i'm sure we can all agree to these simple terms

can we not?

I can agree with this, but then again wee need to know where we are, cause MsCollec ackting like he is giving up, but then he announces fix for 2th june then he is deliting that post, ...  so we are in vacuum right now, and what we need FIRST is that MsCollec decide what he wants.
Simple as that, after he decide we can move on, but from last posts it seems he found someone to help him but if that is the case then he has serious issues in communication.
