It has been almost a week, and no coins I deposited have appeared in my Yobit account, I which ams was tradable on poloniex

If your wallet is not on block 927527 then you are on a fork. You would need to delete your block chain and resync with the node that is on the same chain as yobit

connect=68.71.58.226

You can also download a blockchain from http://cryptochainer.com/dir/

http://108.61.216.160/cryptochainer.chains/chains/AmsterdamCoin2_blockchain.zip

Is there a peer list?

My wallet has been syncing for over a week and it says 26hours behind at block 943604

We only want the FACTS!
Hey Guys,

My wallet is syncing and i passed block 928.000, so i am not on the chain of yobit!
I have made a backup of the blockchain at 923.000 blocks so i can load it back in.

My only true node was yobit, but when i passed block 927954 that changed and i was again syncing with other peers.
I have closed my wallet now because i want to be sure that everything is alright and not staking with a different chain.

I don't know what's best for the coin, so how do you want me to progress?

I have the feeling that since a couple of weeks, there is momentum building for this coin with new nodes showing up on a daily basis.
It would be a shame if this hurdle would bounce us back to the status similar about four months ago.
If i can help in anyway to overcome this problem, don't be shy to send me a message.
The reason that i want this coin to work, is that i am a entrepreneur in the Netherlands with a fairly large portion of my customers in Amsterdam. I am already working out ways to promote AMS and therefore i feel a bounty would be appropriate. Also because i want this show on the road and i believe a bounty would speed things up.

I don't now what the amount should be, but i put 10K AMS on it.
If the reward is not enough for the amount of work, please just write it down along with a proper bounty, i am sure we will work something out.

You may very well be on the right chain.

I noticed my Block Explorer is stopped at block 927954, but my other node is up to 951116 as of now.

I will kick start the wallet on the Block Explorer and see if it will catch up.

Does anyone know of any pools still online, I use http://ams.pool.tauri.hu/index.php, but I think it is on a fork, it is not on the same blockchain as yobit, so I can't exchange any coins I have
I am currently my syncing my wallet with the blockchain in the previous posts

The explorer on http://ams.midnightminer.net/ shows no latest blocks at the moment?
It says that the last block was on 13 March, can anyone explain this?

Thanks..

I guess you must not see the next lines which shows block created today 927954. It seems that first line is stuck showing a older block 914412.

I now have my wallet synced up and staking on this chain.

Thank you, but i see that block 927952 is made at 13 March :

Hi,

I am trying to sync the wallet, please help we with a node.

Thanks,

peers can be found here:
http://ams.midnightminer.net/network

Hey Midnight_miner,

Thanks for the peers, now i have three or four connections in my wallet but the process of synchronizing is still very slow.
After three days i have only 16.000 blocks, so it will take some time.
Do you have any suggestions?

Thanks again

Unfortunately I don't.  My windows wallet on my home computer does not synchronize, it is so slow.

My Linux nodes are keeping up to the latest blocks.  It is one of the things I wish to investigate when I get some free time.

I tried using my linux copy of the blockchain as an import on my windows wallet, but the import did not seem to work.  But if you want to try it, I could attempt to send you my 0.5 GB blk001.dat file for you to import.  It doesn't seem to work on my windows machine but you may have different results.

transfer of the blockchain? ...

create a bootstrap for it in the linux directory - then transfer that bootstrap to the windows directory ...

close the wallet - delete all files in the windows wallet directory except for the wallet.dat and the .conf file ( if you have a .conf file ) and the bootstrap file - then run the wallet again ...

the windows wallet will happily import the bootstrap file of the blockchain up to and including the block that you created the bootstrap from - and will continue to sync as it has built its peers.dat file while it was bootstrapping ...

#crysx

Unfortunately I used a newer version of Berkeley DB when I compiled the linux wallet daemon, and it does not seem to be compatible when I used the bootstrap on the Windows wallet.

it should be ...

the issue 'usually' arises when you downgrade from a higher version of the daemon ...

eg ... if you compiled with bdb61 and then recompiled with bdb53 - then that usually has an issue not the other way around ...

besides - the bootstrap is just the block headers is it not ... and the newer version of bdb 'should' recognize the earlier versions ...

i will look at this a little later - but i have other daemons and nodes that need to be done next week - and preparing all the systems for it ...

there has to be a better way ...
