I totally missed this coin when it was 80 cents, I was looking at it and then something went wrong with their website and I never looked at it ever again... totally regret it now.  I was gonna buy 2000 coins at 80 cents Sad(

That feeling has got to hurt. I know how that feel. It affects one for a very long time.

Yes because of ICO craze now it is a bit hard to choose a good token with a lot of potential in the near future.

Some new info in this video (not seen it all yet but looks promising): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zaPUs4oSr-Q

The beginning shows how bitconnect received 1000 bitcoins in their ICO (that's another $6million that they don't need haha) and only sold 1million in the ICO and kept well over 3million BCC tokens (the staking interest was 10% a month at that time, I think). It goes on to show some more stuff about it so might be interesting for some of you.

Firstly, the YouTuber continued to mistake parody for parity throughout the vid, at one point mistaking it for paradox.

Secondly, exactly how does one purchase BCC via US dollars? ...

Huh i don't understand it's a ponzi ?

It's not  a poNzi because they have other  sources of income besides referrals.

A pyramid scheme. Yes maybe.  LOL.  Like Amway Market America Herbalife Avon Nu-Skin

That explains why aliens don't waste their time on this planet.

The video turned out to be a bit peculiar but basically all the interest is paid as USD in the lending wallet and not BCC tokens. To withdraw it has to be first converted to BCC tokens at the current rate they have set (taken from their exchange). Obviously their rate has to be similar to other exchanges at all times due to arbitrage opportunities.

I never bother using their exchange to convert BCC into BTC (you can withdraw either so doesn't really matter) and just withdraw the BCC to my desktop wallet.

In theory, if BCC crashes, the amount of USD showing in the wallet will not change. It will just convert into more BCC tokens than before the crash. So, if people are scared of BCC crashing, they should just leave all the interest in the USD wallet (known as the lending wallet) or always convert it to BTC after converting it to BCC. The latter option doesn't help you if BTC crashes. If either crash (they seem linked nowadays), then the amount of BCC tokens needed to be paid by bitconnect to convert the USD amounts to BCC will be higher. They have plenty of these tokens at the moment and are accumulating more and more (it is nowhere near the maximum supply either).

Please point to where it's legal for Bitconnect to convert USD to BCC or BCC to USD.

When this thing bursts it's gonna be bad for the whole crypto-community. Not only the bitconnect investors. It's gonna scare a lot of people away from crypto.

Good point. I agree with you.
Even goverments are pyramids but far more complex with their taxation, benefits, community service and blind trust from citizens called patriots.

Lisiting on Hitbtc will drop the price or raise? what this means for bitconnect?

In my opinion backed by other coins history listing on major exchange should have major, positive impact on price of the coin.
Also this should be good for lending platform because it should be more decentralized as it is right now.

Please see video for more details: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MfodQsaWqnQ

Two month later and we're still on the same page here ;] I see you're the tough one AGM76. I've already given up ;] Haters gonna hate and you won't change that. And the more you try, the bigger hate is on their mouth. There is really enough info given all over here for the wise guys to understand how BitConnect works. This video compunds it all and says it in a really approachable way. If they still don't get it, you should really give up too ;]

Another point is, how much money do you think these people need? They have no desire to exit scam anyone. They are already raking in enough money for everyone involved. I don't see any reason they would not continue it long term.

THEY AREN'T MAKING ANY MONEY!!! They are just holding the deposits of investors! Thats how they are "raking it in".

They rake in far more deposits than what people request for withdrawals, so a long as the suckers keep coming BCC will pay out and give people false hope.

The faster it fails the less people that get scammed. This sh*tshow needs to be cut down ASAP.

Shut uppppppp.

Scared money don't make shit...

Stop being a hater!

Let it drop to $100!

I'll throw $300k on it when it does...

I know it wont drop..but if it did...that would be AWESOME.

I'd get more BCC Paid out to me daily!

Would love it...haha...

Even if this shit dumped to $30 USD...people would still loan the token for daily percentage payouts EITHER WAY.

So HATERS why you so mad?

None of what you says means a fucking thing =P

I assure you!

does anyone here, succesfully mining this coin...?

The difficulty is high right now and there's a lot of mining pool mining Bitconnectcoin, this is the reason why the marketcap is very high, they have people mining it, staking it and lending it people buy and sell this bitconnectcoin continously, and we cannot argue with success.
