You don't need a full node to trade on Blocknet DEX.
Having a full node would help you earn service fee which is 100% distributed.

I think the only trading pair on cryptobridge is blockbtc, so you’re gonna need btc there to buy. You could send litecoin over and trade that back to btc while you’re on cryptobridge, but I’m not sure if that will help you much?

Hello guys,
I still have a wallet.dat from 2015 and I've missed the hard fork from october...
I have been told that my wallet.dat is still valid for the new blockchain.
The problem is when I add my walllet.dat to my BlocknetDX Core version v3.7.48.0-aa0df77 the qt crashes with a wallet error.
Any suggestions what I can do?

This is the bare minimum which Blocknet ought to achieve once the SPV & DX final product will be released. Ambitious? Sure! Achievable: hells yeah. The more I've spend time digging around Blocknet, the more I'm starting to appreciate it.
Disclaimer: using only market cap for value calculation is flawed for sure, but it does give us the idea about the current state of things in cryptospace.
I'm tired of the overhyped projects gaining all of the attention with them whitepapers with dubious acronyms and bold promises. Year 2018 will be the year of DX's. Interoperability for the win!

We know the community has been really looking forward to this release and getting their hands on the new UI.
We have been very much excited ourselves! There are a few last items that still need to be taken care of for us to be comfortable calling this release a Beta.
After working towards them the past few days and now having a better understanding, we anticipate we will have a Beta release ready in about a week. However, we do have a release ready with the UI which can be treated as an updated Alpha release. Below are the downloads for the wallets and Block DX installs needed:

Could someone please confirm the benefits of holding BLOCK? Once the Block Dex is launched, by either owning a masternode (1k coins, correct?) or by staking whatever Block you own, you get a cut of the fees. Is that correct? Thanks.
Yes, you get a cut of fees when you hold block. One block is generated every min and node (needs 5000 block) get 70% while staking gets 30%. Both have great ROI. Staking currently is around 11-13% while node gets around 17-18%.
