Blocknet slack channel is one of the most active of all i know. Imagine if all that messages would be posted here in Bitcointalk, will be great mess.

Join rocket chat or telegram. Great community here

Well, is it a Slack channel or Telegram? Why is there no mess here for other coins, and only BLOCK has a problem with this forum?

Just waiting for lightweight wallet, because to keep a lot of different blockchains synchronized on single PC is very unconveniet.

I've being following BLOCK from 2014, way before the ICO, and was intrigued by the potential. This is 4th year I've being listening to "we just need this or that and everything will be working". Somewhere in the beginning of 2015 legitimate questions have been started to be deleted from this thread, and all new users aggressively suggested to use other communication channels which can be more easily controlled by the people who try to hide the incompetence of the dev team. Because of that three years ago I've sold the BLOCK I had. Since then price of BLOCK has been pumped and dumped several times, and the working product usable by everyone still hasn't been released. Do you think it's normal that dev team heavily founded from the ICO is not able to produce a working software in 4th year of it's development?

See you in a few years just to check if I was wrong and they finally produce something. I wish this will be a case, good luck to everyone still holding this coin after all these years.

why is this OP still such a mess.

Just link the latest wallet straight from the OP

This is such a mess because developers couldn't stand normal criticism with the fact that for several years already they are producing only fancy looking "roadmaps" and not being able to deliver working application. That's why they decided Bitcointalk is not primary channel of communication with crypto people and moved to some obscure platform most people don't even have an account on. They stated several times that if you want answers you should come to them. It's not that only OP is a mess, the whole coin is a mess. No wonder there are only three exchanges supporting BLOCK (Bittrex and two obscure ones), and with this laughable volume of trading (7th page on Bittrex) it's slowly moving to the last, 10th page, where Bittrex keeps coins that are candidates for delisting.

Could someone please confirm the benefits of holding BLOCK? Once the Block Dex is launched, by either owning a masternode (1k coins, correct?) or by staking whatever Block you own, you get a cut of the fees. Is that correct? Thanks.

Yes, you get a cut of fees when you hold block.    One block is generated every min and node (needs 5000 block) get 70% while staking gets 30%.      Both have great ROI.   Staking currently is around 11-13% while node gets around 17-18%.

So if I understood right, staking is not yet possible but will be once Block Dex is launched? Any idea when Block Dex is supposed to launch?

Hi. Staking is active now and has been for a long time.

The latest newsletter is here including dates:
https://medium.com/blocknet/word-on-the-block-january-15th-fd4a55a56178
Beta launch is march 1st.

The next Newsletter with a roadmap is due early next week.

Thx for the quick reply. So I suppose i just download the latest BlocknetDX wallet, send coins there and start staking. Is there a minimum amount to stake? Don't have a lot yet, but will try to accumulate more

No minimum at all. Welcome and enjoy. Great community and undervalued.

We need a professional and trustsless DEX where we as users control our cryptocoins! I hope Blocknet will be one of the best DEX in 2018 especially after the UI update and light wallet version of the DEX!

The centralized exchanges can only harm us users, especially when they can be easily hacked (looking at Coincheck lost off 500 million dollars) and controlled by the governments..

There is a project built on the network of the Etherium. He promises to pay in stores and cashback How can this project handle 100 transactions per second if the Etherium network breaks down from crypto-kitties ?? Correctly I realized that this will not work until the etherium network accelerates at least 10,000 or 100,000 times

Great, thanks. And is that percentage per annum, or a different timeframe?

That always depends on the # of nodes (the more nodes there is, the less people staking), and the # of coins being staked.    If you are a staker and the # of people staking is down, then staking ROI will go up and vice versa.   That % that I mentioned above is annual %.   Don't forget the fees though.   That's the wildcard here, the amount could become huge over time if the DEX takes off.  You should really join the Rocketchat to get even more details.    It's a great community with a lot of knowledgeable people without moon talk like every communities out there.

Transportation and communication costs have decreased first and foremost due to technological advances, such as shipping containers and the Internet. Progress has been made throughout the logistics chain, ensuring the smooth flow of goods in a coordinated and inexpensive way.

what is the correct wallet to be using right now

v3.7.47 ?

cos that is not syncing up and for some reason the website links to

v3.7.36

where did .47 come from?

this wallet seems very unstable and is crashing every 2 days? machine is powerful so that can not be the issue

36 and 37 are OK. Been on them since September

mine is 47

v3.7.47.0

is this a bugged version that was removed. It just crashes after every few hours.

I will try to revert to 36 since that is the latest one on the github
