Strange things happening into this project but that's clear now team launched this network in hurry without testing the proper security measure and this could lead to delay and so many error. All investors are getting frustrated because of this behavior.

Rest assured that giving up is the last thing on the team's mind. They want to make BOScoin successful, but sometimes you need to take one step backwards to move two steps forward. The team has been transparent and communicative about everything for the past few months.

As of the latest announcements, MainNet is still planned to be launched in early 2018.

On Friday, November 10, 2017, there was a temporary failure of the BOScoin network causing the blockchain consensus logic to fail. This was announced ( https://medium.com/@boscoin/bos-platform-foundation-announcement-fdd66d479f7c ) and we recovered the blockchain to the last prior stable state, which included all balances, but did not include any transaction history. On Friday, November 17, 2017, we issued this announcement ( https://medium.com/@boscoin/bos-platform-foundation-announcement-fef1cab6aa30 ) notifying the community there was an issue with the manual transfer of transaction fees to public addresses via a script which began processing at 12:25 GMT, 17 Nov 2017 and was halted at 15:04 GMT. This error was caused by a misplaced decimal in the code, which resulted in the distribution of 34 Million BOS to 1418 public addresses. The CTO and other senior management have evaluated the situation, and have decided on the following course of action.

All public addresses will be reset to a token balance that includes all transfers conducted prior to the online wallet going off line at 15:04 GMT, but will NOT include the transaction fees transferred by the script in error. There will NOT be transaction history after the blockchain is reset. This solution will negate the faulty transaction fees transferred by the script, while at the same time keeping any transfers between public addresses prior to the online wallet being put into maintenance mode. The online wallet ( https://wallet.boscoin.io ) will be back online by 15:00 GMT 21 Nov 2017.

We sincerely apologize for the complications caused for two consecutive weeks. The first error was due to a problem with the code and the second one was clearly a human error. Our development team will improve the code reviewing process as well as testings prior to the actual implementation of the code. We promise such mistakes will not be made again in the future.

I hope they aren't giving up on the project what is the status of the main net?

I really don't know why the development/progress of this project is too slow, the investment of those who invested on this project is sleeping and everyone knew that in business, a stagnant investment is a loss.

1 btc = 40,000 BOS or 2500 satoshi for 1 Boscoin. btc at the time was around $1736. So it was around 3-5 cents for 1 BOScoin

Can you explain about that very well managed way look over the page everyone is crying about their distribution model. They should come with speedy process and a stable network I think with current processing time they could take the whole year of 2018.

What will happen at the end of countdown to the web wallet page. By March 2018, it is very likely that new upcoming competitors will cross Boscoin.

I think BOScoin is doing there best but too late as every one expected quick actions from BOScoin as the ICO was implemented in very well managed way. lets see the next mail by BOScoin team, Hope this time some good news will be shared for all BOScoin lovers.

With the BOScoin rollback and wallet freeze it's going to be a hard sell getting this coin on the exchanges any time soon :/

In 2020 with current speed of progress almost 15 days when I sent message still unread. This is prime example of professional people who are making this great.

There is no deadline for the claim process, but keep in mind the team is only processing claim requests twice a week, on Monday and Friday. If you feel that it's taking too much time, you can always get in touch with the team through [email protected].

The only centralized thing going on is the distribution of BOScoins. Keep in mind there was no blockchain with trust contracts nor a web wallet during the fundraiser, so there was no real way to do distribute the BOScoins automatically.
