BURST got Smart Contracts (AT)

Please explain in detail:
1. The CREATOR creates a new ATcrowdfunding case.
2. The general public can "donate" via this form which "at a certain block in the future", if "enough funds are collected" will be paid to XXX
Please name XXX.
IF XXX is the creator, then you can donate ANY time to the creator's address
IF XXX is not the creator, then who is XXX Huh? And how does the creator get access to the fund?

XXX is the creator.

However, the crowdfund has its own account YYY which holds the funds untill they are either payed out or returned to donators. When you use the html form, your donation goes to this YYY account.

Therefore if you just donate to creator, you will not get the funds back if the CF does not reach the amount needed. Nor will the funds sent directly to the creator count towards fulfilling the CF goal (as they are not sent to CF's own account YYY).

Is this a sufficient explanation?

Therefore you can DONATE ANYTIME to the Creator!

Thanks for confirming that!

Hmm why everyone selling out on this coin was in 180s to 190s and now going into the 140s and 150s area. Seems people dumping all at one.

Most people that trade coins don't care what the coin is, they trade whatever has value and based on graphs. That's why pumps are really bad for a coin, it attracts a lot of people who simply want to get in on the ride and then dump when things look a tiny bit bad, which then makes long term holders want to dump too.

Great the coin reached like 39, but I would've taken prices before the pump. This is also why it's a really bad idea currently to buy mining hardware for the coin. Really wish I knew where people were renting it though.

Can someone explain in non-technical terms how I can go about donating to this cause? I don't have much to spare right now but I would love to at least give something.

Nice, thank you Smiley

1. Click here: http://burstcoin.info/d/cf and download the zip.

2. Open the zip and extract the html file (atcrowdfund.html).

3. Place atcrowdfund.html in your wallet, inside folder /[wallet]/html/ui/

4. Open your wallet with your password.

5. Copy/paste, or write, atcrowdfund.html at the end of the wallet's URL; it should look like this:
or
- http://127.0.0.1:8125/atcrowdfund.html

6. On the page opened, you will see the crowdfunding cases running now.

7. Chose the one you want to support and click "Pledge", and enter the sum you want to contribute with and click "Send".

8. Done!

Remember that it will take awhile for you contribution to show up in the statistics, but it will be added eventually.

Also: would not the pledged sum be reached, your contribution will be sent back to your wallet after the block seen at the page Smiley So it's "all-or-nothing" in a way, hence making it important to reach the goals.

Please let me know if anything is unclear Smiley

(Btw, the same steps goes for LuckyAT, the decentralized lottery running independent on BURST's blockchain. The html file for the LuckyAT is found in a .zip at http://burstcoin.info/d/lo/)

Thanks!

There will come BURST new pretty soon, maybe pushing the price upwards. For myself I'm happy to accumulate at this levels of one of cryptocurrency's most promising coins  Grin

Quote
ATDevelopmentFund
The purpose of this case is to provide funding to help extend the technical work and general product development and marketing for AT inside the burst platform.

The ATDevFund is asking for 1,000,000 BURST, and already +20% is collected (among them my lottery winnings, as I promised...).

I'm not pointing to this case because I'd like some devs being richer or being able to launch scam coin.

Remember that BURST was launched without any pre-mine, without any IPO/ICO - so damn many people are working for free with this coins to, quoting that article, being: "once again, one step ahead of the competition". BURST didn't make any promises to collect a single damn BTC. The devs have just worked and worked - and shown result after result after result.

People have not only worked for free but also but their own money into this project, and we are many that made some decent money off that. That's the reason I donated a, for some, kinda large sum tonight, and for some, just peanuts.

The sum that you are donating really doesn't matter. It's the act of donating that is more important, showing those working hard for free that you really appreciate what they are doing. And will be doing.

As someone with a bit of insight on what is coming up, I know you and the market will love it when it is completed by these awesome guys. So please considering a donation to the ATDevelopmentFund and filling that 1mill cap!

While doing so, we'll also make sure that the crowdfunding case is working properly, a news on its own.

Would be happy to donate.. haven't been paying as much attention as I'd like though.  How can I donate?  There is a wallet address to send money to to trigger it, right?  Which address is that?

And what are the rules?  On which block are donations returned if the goal is not reached.

Thanks.

Look at the line:  Creator: BURST-NUFU-7PX7-KHVM-7EMNC   That's where you can donate!
I would suggest pledge first and if not funded (unlikely) then you still can donate it. Don't forget to add some "0" at the end of the 1000 Burst suggestion ;-)

NO!

BURST-NUFU-7PX7-KHVM-7EMNC is the creators address, and you should not send funds to the creators by to the AT.

The ATs, in these instances, the CF cases have separate addresses from the creators that will be used when pledging in the html. That's is the most important reason - at this time - to use the provided .html file when supporting a case

Somethings up with the blockchain, I've been getting a lot of 'fast block or corrupt file' the last two days and been getting crap for forges the last two as well. Can anyone point me to the latest DB download?

http://burstcoin.info/download/ has the latest uploaded block chain and is updated every few days too Smiley

I guess it's down for everyone

looks that way not sure what going on checked my miner and down.  I like the pool and support and everything but wit such problems am going to be having to move again until this is fixed.

Maybe some idea for the future for Burst that when allocating to mine on pool maybe this can be updated so that you can just use backup and not have to wait 4 blocks or so and have them setup as backup pools and it auto switches to backup pool Smiley

I do not believe this to be possible in a secure way, maybe someone smarter has an idea how to do it though Smiley

The wallet is taking unusually long to sync today. First time I encounter this for 4 months now. I actually thought it was corrupted and re-downloaded latest zipped db from the official site.

Some major peer/s down? Can we manually add more to the list?

Thank you in advance.

What version did you download? there is a fresher now.I think.

What happens when you d as you should do, getting the blochchain from your peers?

It finally went through. It was just awfully slow yesterday for some reason, stuck for minutes between updates.

Monero (XMR) - secure, private, untraceable
^I just sent ~10% from my newly solo mined block to the ATDevelopmentFund and I also sent to my zRMicroArray project. If the ATDevelopmentFund is not filled this'll be a great fail for the BURST community, but this won't happen, I suppose.

I pledged also to your project zRMicroArray

I wish you good luck!
Thank you!
