Hi UDJ, stable at 4 connections now and in orange on the bar scale.
One other question that bothers me; transactions are coming in, staking is happening, coin count is going up but transactions are not appearing in the transaction screen or the summary screen. This has only happened since the 2.1.3.1 upgrade and last transaction is dated as 14th April 2016.
Any ideas as to what is going wrong?

Nope, no idea.. I've never seen anything like that. Try starting a new wallet and transferring all funds there maybe?

@Novalok: Well JEWELS runs a game that already exists with a user base of 22k+ thats why I am interested in us partnering with them. Their dev also has a reputation in the gaming development communities.
@Hammers: If thats the current node list that was copied and pasted a few pages back, that means more than likely there need to be more nodes open.

Will keep mining but not working as well as it did last year.

Good news re C2 & Jewels.
More basic issue here, how can I get more connections when I stake? currently only 2.

Which version of the wallet are you using? The last release by UdjinM6 a month ago fixed the connections issue but you have to resync the entire block chain, but there is also a bootstrap for that on the block explorer, the link should be at the top of the page.
