My apologies but unfortunately the update will be delayed this week. We haven't enough taken in account the busy days around Christmas and New Years eve and the team is out of their routine. As soon as things are back to normal I will post it. Enjoy the last day of the year everyone!

So, in short, the development for which the IPO/CKC occured , hasn't even started despite the/your marvellous roadmap flyer, please clarify what were the BTC you collected used for exactly ? The main effort and purpose of the btc you took was on the mobile target with the gps features. do you confirm there is not yet a single line of code except that darkoin desktop copy/paste ? Was the funding round supposed to fund the "three conversations" ? it is a great beginning, yet , but which should have taken place before any OP...
Hi bearbear. Thanks for your comments. The roadmap flyer is still good, your assumption that nothing is being developed is incorrect. The Bitsend team are not the only people working on Checkcoin, they are more producers that manage the project. One thing they do is hiring other professionals to develop for Checkcoin. This is not free of charge. Code is being written by several highly skilled coders. Design is a totally different aspect and as you could have read the team is working on this part as well.
Almost forgot to mention funds for marketing that will be used after the release. Checkcoin has a long road ahead so not all is spend too quickly.
Oh... so basically, you are now telling that the IPO round and related supposed development requires a secound round of funding to be valuable.
The Checkcoin project does not need more funding to realize the initial goals as communicated from the start. However to keep developing Checkcoin in the future and enhance the system with a lot more functionalities it would require more funds to do so. You can compare it with projects and even whole companies that build their business or services on top of the Bitcoin blockchain. The same is possible for Checkcoin, as a platform to build upon and grow branches.
i'll give you a hint : A more relevant security threat : it is so easy to create several wallets/adresses on the same device. I would go to one spot, and mutliply the rewards iby the number of wallets in my virtualized android boxes. Enjoy.
I thought to have read it will only be possible to claim coins with only one phone. So to claim multiple times you would need a lot of phones and not just emulators. This issue has been discussed before. You can easily think of other possible solutions such as a timer/frequency when the faucet gives out coins.
Does that come from an hidden extra premine or did they buy their own IPO ?
There's no hidden premine. The Bitsend team has purchased them personally from the open market exactly for these kind of promotions. You are welcome to donate some coins for giveaways as well.

ATM we have no proof of the development stage...
I have been holding since day 1 , and the price is better than anythings , price is more than stable if i compare to hundreds of others coins....
I am pretty sure that CKC is in strong hands, this explain the price and the stability.
This coin can still skyrocket and become a Top crypto currency in the next months if everything is done well.

They have taken a lot of time for this because they only want the best, someone that fits the budget but who also can make a high standard product that is perfected in the small details. For this they are in conversation with at least 3 companies in The Netherlands, Flitsmeister as advisor, Fourdigits and Dezzign for the designing. More news about this in future updates.

The team has been giving presentations to several interested companies and institutes with the goal to receive investments in future development stages of Checkcoin. This they want because it may be possible to increase the possibilities and functionalities of Checkcoin substantially and on top of the software that is currently being developed. Such enhancements will cost a lot of extra funds and are only possible to develop with the help of investors. The release of the first CKC GPS-enabled wallet is not affected whether they succeed in this or not, the team is looking way further into the future and developments won't just stop after the first release. At least they don't want to. A creative mind could think of hundreds of applications that could be build around the Checkcoin system and Bitsend is willing to explore these opportunities.

Most will want the exchanges with the most volume, but these often are very hard, expensive or impossible to reach. That's why we should look into exchanges that do not have too much requirements. Past year so many new exchanges have opened up, we need to find the most reliable, successfull and potential larger exchanges in early stage of their lifecycle. Well that would make our life a little easier but we also should be willing to stand a good fight if we want to reach goals.

I can reveal something for our first little contest. It will be to create some fan-art about Checkcoin. Total fund for this campaign 5,000 CKC.
50% will be send split evenly to all participants and the other 50% for 1st (1,500) and 2nd prize (1,000).
The official announcement and entreepage will be on the CKC forum, first the team needs to install anti-spam measures then we're good to go.
Until then you can make or think about something, but pls wait with posting it there. Do not post it here as entree, bitcointalk does not allow giveaways so if you do post it here it will be just to share/show. After the official post there will still be enough time to create or submit, at least 2 weeks.
As for the rules there aren't so many. You should allow your creation to be used by the Checkcoin team and community for promotional use.
The goal is to have more pictures/video's/anything about Checkcoin on the web so the best is that contributions are uploaded on proper channels, through a blog, personal site, social media, youtube, etc. Try to touch the spirit of Checkcoin and it's future release combined with GPS.
The prizes may be small but see it as a token of appreciation. After all fan-art is usually made out of passion
