another shitcoin? Undecided

A coin with an interesting distribution and the only coin accepted on just-dice.

Then what I did was, I imported all private keys into BitcoinQT Core wallet and then imported the wallet.dat file into CLAM wallet. Worked fine.

Good idea but synching the whole BTC blockchain..? Sad

You don't need the blockchain to import and export wallets.

Run with "-connect=127.0.0.1" to avoid connecting to any peers and you'll save yourself some network traffic.

Correct.

I took even easier path. While importing keys into Bitcoin core wallet, I disconnected from internet. No blockchain sync!  Cheesy

CLAM surprising again, price-wise... Smiley Good to see this coin alive

The price is relatively high at 0.0056 when it has been trading at 0.003 just 4 days ago. It seems like a good time to sell to buy again at 0.003 in 4 days Grin
i sold some today at 0.006.are you sure i'll go 0.003? if it goes i'm gonna buy it. Grin

Its possible it will drop how low not sure but a 50% increase in 24 hours is usually artificial (without huge news) with the exception of bitcoin in the 2013 rise (that just didnt drop at all til after 1k)

There is news right above your post...

CoinMarketCap now displays the proper market cap for CLAM Smiley

Big thank you to the CoinMarketCap folks, xploited and everyone else who emailed them.

I highly encourage tips to those listed above!

CLAM 38th on the ranking, maybe the reason why there are so many buyers and the price is relatively high?

Okidoki,

managed to import my LTC wallet.dat and got my first CLAMS.

Now I can't get my multibit.key file to work.. I go to the console, type "importwalletdump multibit.key" and get a big fat red "-".. The *.key file is in the same directory as the clam-qt.exe.. What could I be doing wrong?

I have ran into similar problem in past.

Then what I did was, I imported all private keys into BitcoinQT Core wallet and then imported the wallet.dat file into CLAM wallet. Worked fine.

It was at 0.003 just 4 days ago and 0.0039 less than 24H ago. I am selling at the current price even if CLAM could go up a lot in the long term.

I sold some CLAM at price of 0.0045 BTC just yesterday. Now the price is at 0.0065 BTC.

Surprising indeed.

Please ensure that the multibit wallet has been exported with the "encrypted" setting set to false.
The export must not be encrypted in the case of multibit to work.

Will do cause I can't seem to import my DOGE wallet either :/

You can tell that CLAM creators don't care about this or created the system to steal coins, because it's easy to verify owning the address with a signed message without requiring the private keys. But they want your private keys.

You've already told us you don't have the skills required to understand how this stuff works, so what makes you think you're in any way qualified to make such silly statements?

You should pay somebody smarter than you to examine the client code for you, and then you should apologise to the CLAM developers for your rude words.
