It is quite possible that since coinbase is down, we are going to get a nice opportunity to ACCUMULATE! Coinbase being down is blocking some from getting bitcoins ... Cheesy

Yeah, I can imagine we’ll be hitting a pretty modest pump after CLOAK makes the change to open source. I just hope I’m holding a decent amount when that happens

I don't think there is one and that's why it's a gamble to invest right now. If there's a flaw with their code, or they keep pushing back the open source release date (meaning they have no intention of ever actually releasing it), faith in the project will go down and the price will plummet.

That's why people are hoping for the open source release soon. I think that's the main thing holding this project back. Once the code is released and actually checked/audited/vetted, assuming everything passes inspection, it should take off IMO.

I agree. Their plan is solid. Clearly they are incorporating what the community believes bitcoin should be going and then adding on top the technology everyone is hoping for. If it is what they say, and there is no reason to not believe them, this bitcoin could easily be greater value than monero. We are talking about transfer of value without tracing and that is the original vision of bitcoin. This could be it, the transformational technology that turns the tables. A global currency that works.

Yeah, I honestly believe one day Monero's anoniminity will be cracked, but Cloak is different, since it's P2P based, you can't 'crack' the code and figure out a tx to a person unless you know the person in real life before hand.

So is Cloak truly 100% anonymous? Better than zk-SNARKS or other systems? So this could be used for honest-to-God money laundering and couldn't be traced?

If so, I could see this really attracting a lot of attention (for better or worse). I'm just curious as to what benefit someone would have over using the Enigma system vs using something built-in another system (like zk-SNARK, which should also be added to ETH soon).

We have a great team, a currency with a unique technology that is undervalued and an increasingly larger community.
Also in the last days thanks to the negotiated volume we have caught the attention of many investors.
Now we have the focus on us.
This just started, we will soon reach much higher goals.
