to be honest no one like cloakcoin and looks like its failing Sad i am also in big lost last bought @ 0.003 levels Sad Sad

Price is what you pay. Value is what you get - Warren Buffett. Dont relate the performance of the price to the actual potential of cloak. There a many cryptos out there that don't even have a working product, but are pumped to the max. Why? Because most people have no idea what they buy, they are just focussed on price. Cloak has an actual working product, an active community and a good development team. Focus not on the price today, but on the long term future potential.

Well said, mate.

Tradercouch what do you base that analysis on? Every alt coin has suffered big dips and with the update from Deepend that the code should
be completed by the end of the week and the audit about to commence and open source very soon this will be a exciting time for cloak
especially with the current price of BTC!

Cloak  will go up, but it  sucks to see BTC and BCH getting all the attention.
How about the ALTS getting a little bit of the action also.

This is a screenshot from our testnet RocketChat page from Deepend, the techlead Dev who is finalizing the code.

"i will do my best. hunkering down. the code is complex. I have the test platform running; but raizor did it on windows in a linux virtual machine. First issue is to get Testnet 4 to recognize localhost. My wife is out of town this week. I will put as much time as possible to get her done this week. Will update daily this week. Hoping to be able to reproduce the bugs -- and have an idea what might be causing at least one. There are only 3 as far as i can tell. Raizor has done some very impressive work. Let me assure you.
also, raizor has offered to answer questions i may have

so i believe odds are damn good to be done this week
be well"

Join the chat and get the daily updates this week.

Seems to be the code is finished this week and off the to auditor boys.

FILL YOUR BAGS, shit is about to get real.

This is Lucifer described and the case with NSA turning it down:
http://derekbruff.org/blogs/fywscrypto/tag/lucifer/

It was good, but NSA wanted it weakened so they can get in, if shit hits the fan.
I guess you learn something new every day, thanks for digging that up for me.

So now Zimbabwe is buying a coin that can't perform. Good luck to them.

Well, AcquireCryptContext some more for BTC, we have our own safe coin.

The country with the Trillion dollar pack of Bubble Gum? It will work for them...

BTC blockchain limit being 1MB for max tranactions in two's complement

transactions possible:>>> 1024d * 1024d = 1 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000‬b
current blockheight: ---> 495130d =          0 0111 1000 1110 0001 1010b

Turn on the leftmost bit, the sign bit in a two's complement representation of computer maths, and you have a negative blockheight.
Someone could code some countdown for until that will happen.

Only a blockheight of 1048575 will fit in the algo like we know it. Add one, and it's '-1'.

Am I dead wrong or what?

Someone, set up a countdown website for that please, linked to the blocks coming in. ehehe.
A new project is born.

So now they all want BTC, a coin with a block_size limit coming.

Am I right that block height numbers of BTC transactions use two's complement for counting on and on?

If you see it binary, when the most significant bit (the token bit) is set, the block height numbers become NEGATIVE !

Am I right?

There is no true complete privacy on blockchain, everything is traceable... and that is the beauty of it
It all depends on what you mean by traceable. If you're talking about knowing who sent or received coins than there is no traceability using certain systems.

NSA Would have weakened the Lucifer algorithm before accepting it as a standard, it was too heavy for them Smiley
Perhaps I should know this since I consider myself somewhat knowledgeable in cryptocurrencies, but what's the Lucifer algorithm?

CloakCoin is still one of the better looking projects. Offcourse the open Source code is taking quite a while and people searching for short term returns are dissapointed at this time.
But me, as a long term believer, I am not worried about it. Better come out with a good working code than rushing into coming out with a code full of flaws.
Price was indeed going lower, but as everything did and BTC grew more and more it was an easy prediction.
I won't do any predictions, but it will be earlier higher than lower from this point.

If you've studied cryptography you'll know you're talking off you neck. Cryptography done well can be highly secure. Yes, you can have built in trapdoors but it all depends on the algorithm you're using, and your cryptosystem in whole.
