The crw merged mining function was taken from namecoin. Can you try connecting namecoin to your pool if it does the same?

Hi,

I have recently discovered that if I have CRW running on my sha port, it blocks UNO and MYR from generating blocks. As soon as I disabled CRW, they began creating blocks again...

Is there a known conflict with these coins? Is there some conflict with chainid's or something?

Some insight would be great,

Thanks!

Is it known if this problem will be resolved?

Yes, this issue has been taken note of. It's one of the priority's for the dev team. We want as many Merge miners to mine crowncoin as we can, so this issue will be corrected. It would be super helpful if you could put some hash toward crowncoin and enforce the new linux client Cheesy

Edit: Our lead dev is asking me to get the 'pool code' for Crowncoin, not exactly sure what he means but we need it, could you provide me with it? Thanks

Ok I can give it a go and see how it fairs. The stratum code I use is:

https://github.com/tpruvot/yiimp/tree/next/stratum

To clarify, only the github link has changed on crowncoin.org. You need to build yourself right now.

O and thanks for the link!

Hi everyone, we will soon announce several updates on the Crowncoin project: especially in terms of ongoin Thrones implementation and future plans. Additionally we would like to welcome several experienced legendaries to the CRW team with great experience and know how from other major crypto projects.

Will come back soon.

Can't wait to hear the update!

One big marketing advantage Crowncoin now has is that no other coin has Merged Mining and Thrones(Masternodes)

I can't stress how secure Crowncoin's network will be once we have a good number of Thrones and Merged Mining pools start to hash Crowncoin agian.

Decentralize Everything
Ok...next steps for me.

There is going to be GUI provision within the wallet allowing you to control Thrones.  This should be ready in the next day  or so.  Once this is done I'm going to arrange for the builds to me made available.

Once the builds are available we can start contacting people to ask them to update.

While this is happening I am going to run some more Throne tests, this time concentrating on Start-Many and cold throne setup.

Whilst we give exchanges, miners and pools a few weeks to update to the latest client I'll finalise the guides on how to set up thrones and we can start building the network up ready for enforcement to be turned on in the near future.

Whilst all this is going on, it'd be great if the community could have a discussion about the future of the Throne network.  Once the Throne network is growing and paying out, there is a real opportunity to provide services using it.  Similar to how Dash masternodes provide support for Instant X and Darksend amongst other things.

I like the general idea that Thrones could provide services relating to support trade, IPR and business agreements in the future.  Does anybody have any suggestions for possible services that  CrownCoin  could provide?

One thing that I have noticed is that my thrones, despite being active full nodes, can't see other thrones when you run a throne count.

I think this is to be expected before the network has adopted the new wallet but I don't understand the ins ands outs of why.

I found this, not sure if they are still active though

Does anyone know where the majority of crowncoins hash comes from? we'll need to contact them very soon

One of them is active.  On the small side but important nonetheless.  Lets build a list.

The short answer is just like a Dash masternode.

Thanks for that, managed to get it up & running  Smiley

You managed to run a Throne?

Yup - setting up the second now. Has the windows wallet been updated yet?

We're still waiting on wallet builds for windows aswell as GUI to be included.

Once we have those we can start pushing for pools to update
