Hey everyone,
I'm pleased to announce that my project team and I have decided on the final design of the new Darkcoin wallet software and UI. The new Darkcoin wallet will look like this:
Light/White Skin
Dark/Blue Skin
You'll be able to choose your desired skin/theme and modify colors to your liking. We may support custom layouts in the future as well, but for now we must focus on functionality and completing the work in a timely fashion.

Forget software development, I get the impression that a lot of people commenting don't have any coding experience at all.
It doesn't matter if it is finished tomorrow, the end of the month, or sometime in August as we know what the plan is -- and the progress towards implementing/testing said plan is public. I mean, do people want buggy code open-sourced? If there is some major exploit in Darksend and coins are stolen after the final release DRK is finished -- given that possibility, I'd much rather let Evan and the other devs do their due diligence.

At this point it's a parasite, the name is way too close.
People are trying to abuse it rather than contribute to it.
It tells me Darkcoin has some serious value if people are going to use it as the standard for their P&D coin.

This new scam coin DARKC is already waiting to steal/copy darksend code when its released.
I am sick and tired of 2 new scam coins releasing every day.
This is how Btc felt about Ltc and the altcoin universe. Arguably, it did not affect Btc negatively.I am sick and tired of 2 new scam coins releasing every day.

Those who think they can beat others in the pump & dump game. It's the same guys winning all the BTC coin after coin, launching huge mining hashes at launch and waiting for the pump. The 2 day PoW period of DarkCash is ideal - spend a few BTC to rent gigahashes and get 50% of the coins and win 100's of BTCs.
