There can't be any discussion - these are all too colourful. The one that Evan really liked is definitely the slickest one. It's really sharp and aggressive and looks amazingly professional.

I'm not sure aggressive is the image we want to be advertising to new investors. IMO for DRK to reach the masses as a cash alternative, it needs to look like a payment gateway, and I think the colourful ones catch the eye better, and don't bring any of the negative connotations that dark colours can engender. Just my opinion though :-)

These four stood out for me:

I forgot that upper right one, yes, it's bright and feels right as a logo.  I like it too.
yeah, those two on the right looks great. top right is probably the best so far. i didn't realize " ) " and " ( " represents " D " and " C "
  Grin Great work

Totally agreed - top right is my favourite, but bottom right a close second.

I have a problem: I've just updated wallet from 0.8.9.2 to latest version.
When I run the new wallet i cannot find my previous addresses, only new ones with zero balance. If I run the 0.8.9.2 version I find my previous address (XemPUhBUCjHuaUekxPptCj2crhAGisFQva) with the right balance. Both versions use the same data directory and the same wallet.dat file. WTF???

Thanks

First backup your wallet.dat.
Remove blocks and  chainstate in data directory.
Run New Client.

Syncing problem ?

Always so much talk about a new logo.  Great to see involvement.

I was under the impression that Evan and InternetApe has already picked the logo / graphic already? (the one currently being used)  I'd hate to see people waste their time.

This thread is pretty long, so correct me if I'm wrong.

We did a poll and asked if we should design a new logo and the community was pretty split, so we decided to give the community more options to pick from. It seems like it was a good idea, the new stuff is really high quality.

Straight from the horses mouth! Cheers Evan, I must have missed that.

Much respect for listening to the community again.  I like the font used in the bottom right logo.  I just feel the current one looks awesome.

Is there any calculator for DRK ?
Like this one : " https://www.litecoinpool.org/calc "

Not really, but on IRQ #darkcoin you can ask the bot... forgot the command, but people are always popping in there to ask so you'd get it pretty quickly.

Has DGW2 calmed the network down or is that just a coincidence?

I have tested https://github.com/evan82/darkcoin/compare/777630aca5...9c25fc1034
: 32bit compatible (removed DGW v1)

Works

Hello Guys,
does anybody knows when block is halfing in dark coin?

Thanks

It's a 7% per year decline and it should happen January next year.

Yeah, upper right is a really nice look, going for a warmer, inspiring, and innovative DRK.  Lower left is pretty appealing as well.
