I think the test went off really well. The process works - now it just needs some cosmetic tweaks to make it more user-friendly.

How about a dropdown from the send button that give you standard or darksend options?

that is great news about the test, tx for the update

regarding an option between 'normal' or 'dark' sending
I think dark is dark and should always be dark !
otherwise people have an option to (maybe) hack into the dark and anonymous option easier, but i believe (even thought i do not know too much about the technical part) it would narrow it down for them …know what i mean !
I am all for "DARK" and always (no option)
if that is possible !

An interesting idea.. kind of like making assumptions about your dark sending based on your "light" sending...? or allowing a receive address in the open to identify you? With that in mind, your probably right about making it all dark. Eduffield, would making all the transactions dark cause any block overload? kinda like the monster fedora or zerocoin is building? Our transactions are still relatively like, data-wise, right?

Yah, that or two buttons??  Just so people know the options are there (they may not realize there is a drop-down? )

Hey everyone, we just finished another round of testing of darksend.  It's quite interesting.  It was implemented in the send button, so nothing fancy, just like sending any other amounts.  There might be a choice in the finished version, to send via darksend or just send the normal way.  This is going to be really easy to use.  Also, it seemed to go fast, though I don't know, we were not a lot of people, and I don't know if it would matter how many people were using it?

Very cool

Thank you,

As i said its just for fun i could make it look legit with better graphics. Its a rough copy

I think it's cool. Don't listen to the flamers with god complexes. As if a graphic made by a community member is going to damage the coin.. come on..

Did it for fun also working on a logo

This post should be deleted from the thread. It makes the coin look like a complete joke.

Hey, have some respect. Someone spent time making it and I think it looks cool.

I'm starting to think it's intentional...

Very good news Smiley

Eduffield, can  you please make it clear on the front page why Darkcoin is different/better than zerocoin, fedoracoin and darkwallet.  I think people can't find this information very easily.  I added your explanation to the reddit page, but it will get buried there as well.

I was thinking of adding a wiki to the subreddit, which would be a logical place to put info like that. As well as on the website, of course.

We have a web designer designing us a new website, please take a moment to goto darkcoin.us and give him some ideas on what everyone would like to see on the site. We want to make this completely OWNED by the community.

He is not asking for any money to do the work and he will be hosting the site.

But he will be accepting donations. We have had 3 people already say they are donating.

As soon as I get his address I will post it.

Anyone have a problem with wallet syncing? Are there nodes to add or?

First, make sure you have the latest wallet.  Second, ugh, it's been a while, but if you search this thread for nodes, you'll find them in the earlier posts Smiley

I reuploaded here, as much as I would love more dark, I don't want people to get mad when they accidentally connect to my worker haha https://mega.co.nz/#!foxERRrY!rYPrEgfeXPXxpIi7owkVAva7lx7Zs_fAbIAedNUv10I

Thanks for that. I am now getting 3.4-3.5MH/s on a 6990, yet to try tweaking for the new version.

I'm seeing some gains as well, but for some reason sgminer won't take the same commands in the .bat file that the previous version (linked in the first post of this thread) did.  I've never messed with sgminer before (only cgminer), but the previous version took all of my old cgminer commands.  It seems that this new version also does not display GPU temp info and will not let me use "--gpu-engine X" or "--gpu-memory Y" commands.
it does this when it has a problem with adl.
my headless unit always gives me that error when i start it while using remote desktop.....

sry guys I'm tired tonight.. once again the new SG miner for windows.. compiled from phm's source

https://mega.co.nz/#!j15w3CBC!oqvpvbw0DenM0KqGxG4iJ-w7bxCUrD89tiqH7frxVGM

disregard links in the quotes.. I accidentally double zipped it making the file size too large.. Enjoy

Is this different than the one on the first post? I am getting about 8% more hashrate with the one on the first post compared to PHM's first release.

No it's the same one.. first time i left it with my worker and didn't want people to think i was trying to make people mine for me.. then zipped 2 copies of it into 1 rar.. now i got it right... lol

Any bounties for DRK if I could get a big crypto merchant to accept it? I'm asking because A: I like where this currency is going and B: I cant seem to mine fast enough so a bounty would help jumpstart...and I know a few owners.
Can you give a more specific example of the type of merchant we're speaking of?
Basically a merchant that sells everything from digital gift cards to computers to ps4's. A full service crypto merchant.
Cool.  What kind of bounty would make that worth your while?

30-40 Darkcoins, should be fine. I will have to sell it to the owner so it's payment for time haggling with him. He's a great guy but nervous of risk so basically the bounty would be for that. I have access to media as well so whoever pays the bounty I will credit them in this thread and the darkcoin Reddit if they like.
I'd be willing to put up 30.

OK I'm a big fan of transparent donations so as soon as the 30 bounty is paid I will post here and if you are on reddit will announce your contributions to furthering darkcoin there if you like as well. Once paid I'm getting right to work. You can use the address right in my sig.
Sorry for not being more clear, but I'll pay the bounty if/when you're successful.
