I am still on a quest for a new exchange.
Surprisingly BTER has responded quickly to my support ticket
Seems like a no at this stage but I’ll keep on prodding them

If anyone here is feeling wealthy I hear CoinExchange.io is adding coins for 0.25 BTC
The exchange is starting to get decent volume and has few currency pairings so it might be worth
investigating further

I have yet to hear back from Yobit or Alcurex

Please Vote for DTC

Datacoin is now listed on Livecoin voting page
You can vote once a month for free or send BTC for extra votes

This is a great time to take advantage of the low difficulty and cloud mine some DTC
Here is an easy step by step guide to follow

Does anyone have any active nodes they can give me ie. addnodes? It seems dtc.graymines.net recently went offline which was what I used to rely on, sometimes I would see a couple of other nodes but my client can't find them either. bytestamp.net's block explorer shows fresh blocks so the DTC network is still out there ..

This coin is a sleeping giant.  I can only find one node though!

Yesterday (12 February 2017) connected to 16 nodes.  And CPU mining works quite well - mined 80 coins for the day.

Thanks for the addnodes.

Yes, I also got 16.55 DTC this morning.  66.15DTC so far.  It depends on the difficulty, which is dropping.

I will dig a little to show how to exchange blockchain to blockchain.  Maybe Apertus.io can help.

good progress in your way now ..be a pioneer and take initiative steps for the betterment in the system.

I saw Web2Web:

https://torrentfreak.com/web2web-serverless-websites-powered-by-torrents-bitcoin-161008/

Interesting.  Very similar to Apertus.io, but they use the bittorrent network to store the websites and the bitcoin blockchain to store the torrents for the websites.

Datacoin should be better to store the torrents since Bitcoin only stores 80 bytes in each transaction, while Datacoin stores 128kb.

Yes, it is amazing.  No developer and no exchange and yet this coin keeps on getting applications built on top of it.

I like the Internet of Coins.  Seems to complement Apertus.io.  Websites running on coins are uncensorable and unseizeable.

An exchange for cryptocurrencies could be built on the Datacoin blockchain itself.

Intresting can you explain more?
I know CounterParty but also exchange other coins?
That is then an intersting feature DTC can offer in the Internet of Coins ecosystem.

edit:
wow I just set in console
Code:
setgenerate true 2
and got 16.42 DTC
Looks much to me or is that normal?

I cant say that looking at this coin makes my underarm rash less irritating. Data is a doable name for a crypto project though its a pity that it hasnt got enough docile followers to spur quarrels and fud wars in this thread, which would make it more entertaining to me than lisk thread.

Hi People,

I want to share a picture of my wallet with 11 nodes!

Not bad for a coin with no exchange and no active developer.

I have also a tip to look at http://www.federatedblockchains.eu.org/
See also https://internetofcoins.org/
And the latest developments on bitcointalk

This gives posibility for application Datacoin!
