The deft chain was hacked on 3. October (CVE-2018-17144) . About 350.000 additional coins have been transferred to CREX and sold for 900 Dollar something.

After discussion with the Exchange, we decided to replace this lost money with our own funds and put a buy order of the missing DEFT. Even most fake DEFT have been bought lower 20 SAT. We offered 30 SAT. Some honest members did sold fake deft back to us (100.000) . We warned others not to buy.

After a certain time. CREX24 and we decide to halt the trading. We asked our community to prove the balances of DEFT via Google Doc.

We try to save many people as possible. DEFT is not owned by anybody, it is started by a DEV and it is a 100% community coin.

Right now we are working on next level of DEFT. Meanwhile please fill this following doc, in order to retain your DEFT coins. Only coins before 3. October are valid, all other got the chance to sell it.

The dev of this project is scamming people out of their money by claiming fake coins were added to the Crex24 exchange, then offering to buy them back at a loss. I have seen several screenshots ranging from him being rude to people, to flat out refusing to pay them back at all.

The fact remains, this is HIS project, therefore he should be held accountable for coins being traded on an exchange registered in his name.

If he continues to refuse to pay back the people who bought coins from Crex24, I will expose him for the arrogant fraud he actually is.
No potential investors, partners or exchanges will come anywhere near him or his project in the future.

Forum is slow media compared to chat and you can't expect someone from community delivering you information here just because you find it convenient.
Most people who mine/trade some coin should check info on what they mine/trade on more sources, and source with most people, most informations and fastest one is discord.

Guys, don't buy $DEFT on @Crex24 rn. The situation is extremely complicated. Dyor in DEFT support. If you buy here chances are very good you will lose the coins you bought. I really would like to see @Crex_24 and @DeftChain find a solution soon.

@everyone Despite all efforts, some traders are abusing all attempts to reconcile this issue in Crex24. Even paying 0.12 BTC out of my pocket to the traders who bought mostly for less then 15 Sat didnt help. Therefore i am making a final call how we will solve this issue for most of you guys. For the big upcoming swap comes, timeline will be set by @barrystyle , we will do this outside of Crex24. All Balances within Crex24 will be not swapped. The new Deft will be a new tradepair in Crex24. I will set up a google doc, where anybody can claim his Deft by Crex24 eMail. Screenshots ( a lot of them). Any buys after 3. October will be ignored. Anybody who is trying to outplay me will be ignored. Anybody who is trying to fake it will be ignored. We will try to save 80 percent of the flock. So please comply. For anybody who comes up with unrealistic balance even with screenshot, i would need a Login/Password or a Teamviewer session. Anybody who bought after 5. October , with real deft balance before. Your real deft is gone if you hold 1 fake Deft.

What is going on with Deft? Exchange does not allow withdraw crex24. I have not a lot of ~ 800 in the account. But I honestly earned them on a video card. What to do with them now? Sell or leave as a keepsake?

I started mining it from the beginning also when it was CPU only, the price dumped hard just a few days after it got listed on the exchange and now it seems like a good time to buy.

Eventhough it's a new algo, the GPU miner is based on ccminer so the instructions and settings are pretty much the same.

I can't really say it is dead for certain and I really hope it's not, but if you take a look at the github last commit was June 23rd.

This is an academic project and the researchers are coming back from summer work starting next week. Hopefully it'll signal a restart of work (and Github commits). This is a very low-emission coin, it won't take much for the value to go back up.
