To anyone currently mining @ http://digitalcoin.scryptmining.com  please note we are in the process of moving servers.  To try and cause the least amount of disruption to mining, I've brought up a brand new pool @ http://dgc.scryptmining.com .   I've copied over all your user and worker info, as well as your payout addresses and threshold's.  The only thing you'd have to change to start mining the new pool is the stratum URL, which is now:

stratum+tcp://mine-dgc.scryptmining.com:3388


Note:  I did *NOT* transfer over your balances from the current/old pool.  It seemed slightly less disruptive to let people withdraw their funds as they'd like over the next couple days, and just have to switch their miners, then having a hard cut-over from one pool to the other.   However, if you'd like your balance simply moved over to the new site, I can certainly do that, just send me a PM with your username.

Any funds not withdrawn at the old pool before it comes down in a couple days, will of course simply be automatically moved to your account at the new one.  Nothing will be lost!

So in short, please come join us at the new pool @ http://dgc.scryptmining.com as soon as you can.  All it requires is the new stratum URL in your mining clients.

Kinda noob question here. But if we were under attack how would we know? Looking for a informative answer.(Textwall appreciated.) Seems like there is no solid info on this "issue".

My pool was out for a couple of hours this morning - looks like the DGC client had frozen up and wasn't taking requests.  Hence, we weren't finding any blocks during that period.

It has been restored to normal operation

All in good time. Its holding steady around .0003 or so atm. Hopefully once some of these services such as the new dgc bank and digiclick mature it will start moving up. I think alot of these pump and dump alts are holding the good coins such as dgc back at the moment. Too much confusion and market dilution. Anyway Rome wasn't built in a day and we all know how long Bitcoin took to really get going lol

On a different coin, I put an old laptop on it solomining, just to test something. I hit a block on the first line of hashes. I knew it was luck, but I left it running for a few more days just to see. Didn't hit a second block.

Solomining is great as long as you're patient, don't mind the ups and downs of luck and have a decent hash rate.

Can't seem to solo mine using CPUs. Have 500khs with multiple. I am using cpuminer. Any links to get me started.
