Do you have qt5 installed?

qmake gets confused in that case and you need to specify qt4.

just using qmake will do strange things if qt5 is also installed.

edit: As a side note, all the resource files have been cleaned up. Most wallets still use the names of the icons from whatever coin the source was copied from
This developer at least spent the extra time to change all the resource names and remove all the old stuff.

I view this as a very good sign.

Totally agree.
I stopped mining at dedicated after a few hours, as the 2% fee plus 0.01 is too greedy.
Lowering transaction fee only after realizing that smt is wrong with miners leaving and complaining - hmm... doesn't look like "forgetting to lower the fee" to me.
