What is wrong with the p2p nodes? It seems they are offline?
eu, us and us2 with the cloudapp url are online.. i just checked them
theonly one which is offline is http://einst.coin-lab.com:41876/
all others are on.

Yes, more than likely this exploit hasn't been used yet. The way it works, if they so choose to, they could mine all the coins nearly instantly, thus destroying a coin. But if they have profit in mind, may only mine a few blocks and dump. It is called the Time Warp Exploit because they can reduce difficulty by many factors and mine multiple blocks in less time than a normal block.
I am not even sure if there is proof the exploit works, haven't read enough. Once again, I doubt this has been used in the wild. Not trying to spread FUD. I honestly think this coin is amazing and wish to see it do very well for many years!

I hope thats not the case with EMC2, but sincerly i saw already guys selling million of EMC2 pretty low...so im wondering if this is a multipool, or some huge mining farm, and really hope its not some kind of exploit...

The most proffitable coin for me was bought un coinedup.com , I just sent them an email for emc2 and invite them to check out out our community, please send them an email too to [email protected] . Coinmarketcap.com use coinedup too so it will be a great way to start making emc2 show it's real value.

I just saw that too, I dont understand why people would sell so cheap. Its ok though because that means more coins for the people who are in the know.
Is only 1 guy short selling, he is trying to get around 1,000,000 emc discreetly, as soon as 3-5 btc enter the buying orders he will lose control.
pd: well not that discreet anymore, I just saw his 3 btc order plus the at leats 3 over that order should be also his if not all.

Just an idea... it would be nice if you show more informations about the team behind EMC2 on the website. Some personal infos, photos etc. to gather more confidence about the foundation and the concept.

Any news about this? Would love to see the real people behind EMC2. I also guess that this is very important for the integrity of the whole foundation and their exposure outside any crypto-forum etc.
Register also the main top level domains for a more professional appearance... Just do it different then all the other useless coins outside.
The organization does need a front end/web developer right now to make more of this sort if thing happen. While the current page is great, this is one of the few gaps that are still there.
Everything is still happening very quickly in terms of the organization. There is a great team so far though and they will be posting this information soon.
