Energycoin community, this is Joe from magi and I am here to help the block chain. Basically the new chain grows up from a backup chain provided by Jan (hosted in my server: http://coinmagi.org/files/energycoin/Save_blockchain_EnergyCoin_block1051199_Crypto4Jan.zip), block # 1051119. This means all your prior staking reward after block # 1051119 (old chain) is invalid. Unless dev team wants to use another chain, you're unlikely to get those coins back. All transactions before block # 105111 are valid.
To grow the new chain properly, please download the conf file from here:

The following nodes are those I have, please make sure any other nodes which contain the old chain are removed.
I suggest community uses the following nodes and any others the dev team announced.
Let me know any questions / suggestions or a guide for setting up new chain you might need.

I working also on some extra VPS nodes and when the block chain is stable I startup my PI.
I have so many things to say for my future plans for the EnergyCoin Ecosystem but now we just have to make the block chain secure.

I simply can not get it to use the right fork. I am guessing that I am simply having problems with the client using the new config information. I don't really know.
If you follow the steps you get connected.
But we need more nodes!
Sync to the new blockchain first. After your block height is over 1054525, type this command at the console:
getblockhash 1054525
It should return you: 0000069fe492a858cd98eb67f11137b5568dd84c0327483817b8c55a881aa8af
If not, you are still on the wrong fork. You will need to do the steps 1 to 5 carefully again.
Remark: for those still stuck with the last official block height 1051199 and never connected to the wrong fork before, there is no need to do steps 1 and 3.

I simply can not get it to use the right fork. I am guessing that I am simply having problems with the client using the new config information. I don't really know.

I see EnergyCoin in the center of envirimental applications so maybe other coins like MintCoin, SolarCoin, CarbonCoin, GreenCoin and other enviriomental currencies can join "The Green eXchange" with real world application as CO2 trade, green Energy, Biomass, and much more. The big picure is in my head and I have now great help of skillfull people.

So we are running a chain? I stopped my wallet when it was clear that I had gone over the last official block. So, if we are running, then how do I make sure I am on the chain I need to be?

I keep this chain alive for some days but better stop your wallets!
For the new fork we start again with block 1051199.
In one week we are online I espect and then I ask Bittrex to join the new fork.
Some more buy support on Bittrex is welcome, we are now a super bargain and when the fork is alive I start buying at market levels.
I believe strong in the consept for EnergyCoin I posted a few posts back.
No reason for panic and just trust me we are soon back online with a healty BlockChain and some extra features in the wallet.

The dev-team has dicided to fork from block 1051199 and so on.
In a few days I give the details how we start up again.
The current fork we go merge or we use boodstrap from 1051199 and a smal collection of addnodes.

For the GEO a had CheckCoin in mind and I have a last resque plan for that coin. In GEOcoin I invested small.
I have now realy intresting business cases for EnergyCoin with several Energy companies in services and deliver area's.
I made the picture more clear now for my meeting tomorro
If this meeting works out positive you can contribute what you know and make profit of that knowlage.
